I'm sure you realize that if you weren't anesthetized you would have eventually woken up and taken a breath, but the constant low-level stress that puts on your system causes long term damage to your health. I understand about the the price. I would take 299.00 for the unit. As to the person who said I would send them a brick in the mail...that is why I said paypal. Night 1 is in the bag! I completed my first night of sleep with my new machine and mask and it was great! With my old machine and mask I constantly had leak issues. Last night I slept like a baby and didn't feel any leak all night long! I feel like this time around its going to work out for the best...
