Thanks everyone! What is EPR? And how do I know if I have it on or not?
I've upped my titration by 1 to a 10. We'll see how tonight goes.

Re: Suddenly started snoring on machine
actually have no bed partner, dammit!. However, I have woken myself with my snoring. I know I am not mouth breathing because back when I was I woke myself up constantly with it. Nope. This is plain ol' snoring while on a CPAP. Too weird. I'll try upping the titration tomorrow!

Suddenly started snoring on machine
Hi everyone - I haven't posted in a long time because I've been doing great. Until now. My doc says I'm one of the most compliant patients she's ever had. I came back to life when I started using a CPAP a year and a half ago. However, lately I have been feeling somewhat tired and have actually nappe...

How to reinforce Breeze plenum shell?
I absolutely LOVE my Breeze headgear, but no matter how careful I am about putting it on and taking it off, the plastic plenum shell breaks where it connects to the adjustible slider "thingy" about every 3 months. Since the replacement part is almost as expensive as a whole new headgear, does anyone...

Re: Dry mouth causing gum disease
Thanks so much everyone! And, yes, Den - I do have type 2 diabetes. I've had it for a few years and never had any gum problems before until a couple of month ago when I started mouth breathing in my sleep. Why do you ask? I'll try everything you are all suggesting. Again, thanks to all. Michele

Dry mouth causing gum disease
All of a sudden (after using a cpap successfully for 6 months) I started waking up with terrible dry mouth from my mouth opening during sleep. In addition, I found out from my dentist that I was developing severe gum problems due to this dry mouth. It seems that your saliva keeps bacteria washed awa...

Re: Need help analysing my data from CPAP
Thanks so much for the suggestion to make sure my machine isn't malfunctioning. I hadn't thought of that. I will get right on it. And, yes, it is definitely the Elite II.

Re: Hello, new here with test results.
Hi Michelle - I am also a Michele! I've only been on this board a really short time and have only been using a CPAP since August 7th. The people on this board are wonderful and they are very patient. I feel like a numbnut asking the questions I do, but they always take the time to answer thoroughly....

Re: PapCap- first night.
I have that same mask and headgear, and I'm a newbie too. However, I have used it quite successfully. What part are you having trouble with? Mine is all one piece. The only parts you have to slide on are the two black plastic parts with little "balls" on the ends that attach to the actual mask. All ...

Re: Need help analysing my data from CPAP
Wow!! You guys are all amazing. And I must admit my brain is swirling after reading all your posts. I'm so new to all this stuff. By the way, I always fall asleep easily, so I have no problem with my ramp setting. On the regular LCD display I have my ramp set to 10 minutes.... so I don't understand ...

Need help analysing my data from CPAP
Hi Everyone - Well, thanks to Georgio I was able to go into my CPAP machine and get a bunch of data. The problem is I don't know what it's telling me. Sorry to be such a "newbie"! If anyone is willing to take the time to help, I'd truly appreciate it. Start CPAP 4.0 CPAP 9.0 Max ramp 45 AHI 1.1 AI 0...

Re: Newbie with leaking pillows
Are you sure your pillows are not too small? I'm a newbie with a small nose, but found that the large pillows seal the best.

Re: Breeze mask w/pillows
I love my Breeze with nasal pillows! I am a total side sleeper and have found this is the best in comparison to using an actual mask. You don't need a special pillow. The mask would end up pushing into my eye and causing weird puffiness underneath. For the first week I experienced some soreness in t...
