I'm new to this group but have had my cpap for about 8 months or so. It took me the first full month before I went the whole night without taking the mask off in my sleep. Once I finally got used to it and learned which things made me most comfortable, I began to feel better than I had in years and ...

Once in awhile, I take a nap on a weekend afternoon without the mask, and I always regret it - wake up with a headache and feeling sluggish. It took me awhile to get used to the "idea" of sleeping with a hose attached to my face, but so much feeling better sure makes it easier to accept.
