I think it's a great idea! I actually did a search under "dating" to find this topic. When I used to get my nails done, I was still getting used to my CPAP and I told my nail tech about a guy I was just meeting (no sparks, as it turned out) and I commented that I was a little apprehensive about when...

My HH always has condensation, but it has never had a bad smell. I use only distilled water in it, in case that makes a difference. Once, when I was on vacation, I put a little too much water into it, and some of it got into the hose and I woke up in the night, making a loud clicking noise every tim...

I have frequent nasal congestion from allergies, especially at night, and I had a lot of the same problems in the beginning with my CPAP. I also took Sudafed until a friend told me it could make it harder to sleep, and after I stopped taking it (and also stopped taking any type of sleep aid), I was ...

Re: Thanks for the site to get the Emergency Medical ID car
Worked great! Filled everything out and printed the ID card out. Now just have to get it laminated. This message board looks great too....I'm a new CPAP user. Tonight will be my 9th night. Going through the typical adjustment period. I got one of the soft u-shape neck pillows and using it at night ...

I have severe apnea (85 AHI, oxygen desats to the 50's)....so I can relate to the comparison of CPAP to a pacemaker. But that comparison may only be logical to some of us...pretty outrageous comparison if you only have mild apnea.... My apnea isn't too severe compared to a lot of people I have talk...

Ok, I have to ask... just when should the "feeling better" part kick in? I have been attempting to use this thing since September. I had some time off in December because of an error message while on vacation. I am now leaving it on at nights -- at least until I have to do the "guy thing" --- didn'...

leslie, Great cpap story and great advice! Thank you so much! I was afraid I was saying something someone else already said, since I just joined. Your mask looks like it would solve the problem of rolling from one side to the other without knocking the mask out of place. That is my only drawback to...

I'm new to this group but have had my cpap for about 8 months or so. It took me the first full month before I went the whole night without taking the mask off in my sleep. Once I finally got used to it and learned which things made me most comfortable, I began to feel better than I had in years and ...

I just joined this group, so I hope I am not repeating anything someone else already said. I wanted to share info about the mask I have been using for the last few months though. It's the Mirage Swift Nasal Pillows System ( https://www.cpap.com/productpage/1433 ). It took me awhile to get it just ri...
