Re: Please Rethink The Big Pot Design
Once we have categorized forums, people who really like things categorized by subject will obviously get annoyed at the way other people choose to categorize their threads - or even their posts. So we'll have tons of "this thread/post should be here and not there" posts to wade through - as well......

Re: Please Rethink The Big Pot Design
Please don't mistake my comment about IT. I just got the feeling he was saying it from an IT perspective. I guess since no one else mentioned the IT thing, I didn't really think of most anyone else being from it. In addition, I also agree that 13 forums would be too much, and would stand a good chan...

Re: Mask Recommendation for active sleepers
Have any of you tried the PAPillow? Would you recommend it and if so is it expensive? I'd like people's thoughts on this too. I have the Activa mask and love to sleep on my stomach, but that is pretty much impossible with the Activa. Would the double pap pillow allow me to do that? Anyone have expe...

Re: Please Rethink The Big Pot Design
I want to stipulate up front that I truly appreciate this forum as I have learned a great deal here the last couple months, and am sure I will continue to. I am not attempting to berate or be mean towards anyone or the posts/work they do here. I am just putting forth my opinion on the organization o...

Re: Activa/Mack's & Leakage Issues - I know,another leak thread
Well, I have to admit, the oils on the mask were what was killing me! I am ashamed to admit it, but that is what it was. To be quite honest, I just lost sight of cleaning the mask off daily after starting it all, and then never got into a habit of it. My wife loves to clean, and did so, but thought ...

Re: Activa/Mack's & Leakage Issues - I know,another leak thread
Not to mention I was kind of afraid to really push the Mack's on there very hard.

Re: Activa/Mack's & Leakage Issues - I know,another leak thread
You know, I may not be cleaning the mask enough either. I am kind of bad about that, and it didn't really want to stick all that well last night. I'll give that a try too. Thank you.

Re: Activa/Mack's & Leakage Issues - I know,another leak thread
That is a good idea. I'll give it a try. The inside of the Activa mask is so soft I was having trouble getting it to stick when I put it on. Maybe I should put it more outside instead of to the inside in addition to the tape.
Anyone try the tape on the mask already?

Activa/Mack's & Leakage Issues - I know,another leak thread
So I went and got Mack's yesterday and I am at my wit's end with leakages (see my other thread is leakage a way of life?). I was super pumped about trying it. I had just kept having the problems where the straps were too tight for full pressure (blow-outs) or too loose for the ramp (slippage leaks)....

Re: Leakage - a new way of life?
I had heard it was supposed to be good for people that move around a lot too, but haven't really found that to be the case yet. I went ahead and fiddled with it last night, and ended up just turning it off after 30 minutes of leaks. I knew I should have left well enough alone but didn't. I also knew...

Re: Leakage - a new way of life?
I'm actually worried it is too tight. The leakage always happens out the side, and often when on my back and just turning my head from one side to the other. Maybe too tight then? I also notice more leaks in the beginning as I ramp up, so maybe I need to have them tell me how to push the ramp up a l...

Re: My "gear" is off every a.m. for a week-suggestions?
As a dude, bobby pins aren't at the top of my list in trying (not that it is bad advice, but my hair is a wee to short). However, having the same problem for a little over a week, I just stopped doing it after that period. I tried to make sure I thought of it going to bed, but I just tried to not ob...

Re: Leakage - a new way of life?
Thank you for the replies and the link to the other thread. I was considering the double pap pillow, but was not sure about it for $65. I read all the reviews and they were mixed as to whether it was worth it or not. I really spend most of my time sleeping either on my back (when my wife isn't home)...

Leakage - a new way of life?
I am new to CPAP, and have been doing it for 3 weeks. I have tried various adjustments to my Resmed Mirage Activa Nose Mask(makes me want to sing the yogurt song every damn time I say it) but I still have leaks throughout the night with various movement. For instance, when laying on my back and turn...
