I went and looked at the model of my machine and I was in error. It is a Resmed Sullivan V Lightweight and I have a standalone Resmed Sullivan Humidaire humidifier. Ironically, it is made in Sydney, Au. It has been a great machine. Started using it in June 2000. It is a little large to travel with c...

Re: Concern over Legionnaires Disease?

[quote="Perchancetodream"][quote="WearyOne"] Someone once mentioned that he used distilled water as a final rinse which probably wouldn't hurt, but most bacteria will be killed with warm water and soap (not anti-bacterial soap). Susan What's wrong with antibacterial soap? I've been using it for clea...

tried a nasal mask at first but it leaked and, worse, tickled my nose to the point of misery. Switched to nasal pillows and never looked back.

I see from reading the rest of your post that you are using a humidifier. cancel what I said. What is a 'tank'?

not sure what the 'tank' is but if you are used to using a heated humidifier and now you are not using it, that is your problem.

I'll also throw in my opinion. I use Adam's Circuit and used to use Breeze. I also sleep on my side and the exhaust really bothered me. Couldn't sleep under covers because the noise was too loud anytime the exhaust blew on covers or pillow. Also bothered my wife when I faced her.

I also use nasal pillows and have tooth movement. Mine is from tongue thrust, i.e. tongue pushing against back side of teeth causing them to spread apart. SOunds like yours are doing just the opposite.
