Re: Encore software - technical question

I figured I'd post an update just in case anyone else ever has this problem. I downloaded the 32 bit version of EncorePro and it seems to be able to find the device just fine. Unless it fails to find the smartcard in the future I think this will be a workable solution. I will update again if EncoreP...

Re: Encore software - technical question

I'm not much of a computer maven, but ... Would it help to move the data files from the card to a file on Windows and then open them from Encore Viewer? I don't know, so far I can't see a way to view the smartcard file - it does not show up as an extra drive (like a dvd etc.) but if I go to device ...

Encore software - technical question

I'm trying to go where no (wo)man has gone before. At least I've not found anyone else trying this. I have a Mac OSX and am running the newest version of Parallels with Windows XP Home Edition 2002 SP2. To this I've added the Encore Viewer sold on this site bundled with the Mako DT3500 card reader. ...

Re: Update on coughing problem

Jim makes a good point. I wonder if you've just CHANGED your needs and don't need to use the humidifier right now? My needs change CONSTANTLY.... Something will work FINE for a few weeks, then it needs to be tweaked. Maybe you should just put the HH away for awhile, and see what happens. Cheers, Ba...

Re: Update on coughing problem

Your problem and, precieved results, don't compute. The Electronics of the HH aren't in the air circuit and therefore aren't being breathed in unless the HH is on fire. Cleaning the HH tank should, make it like new, unless you are allergic to your water, (or what's in it) it shouldn't make you coug...

body position and areophalgia

I've had a problem all year with having my tummy fill up with air and I've made and interesting discovery that might help someone else. I've found that when i sleep on my left side or on my back I will have the problem with swallowing air. When I'm sleeping on my right side it goes away. I would sug...

Update on coughing problem

I posted a while back about having a horrible cough every time I used my cpap. Here is the link: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=34377&p=293650#p293650 I tried all the suggestions but still kept getting the cough. Most suggested that I didn't have enough humidity and that I was getting a...

Re: new coughing and throat irritation problem

I appreciate the input - I've not tried turning the humidity up all the way, but I'll give that a try for a night or two. I'm also going to borrow some allegraD from my husband and see if maybe it is post nasal drip.

I'm just so tired, I want to have happy healthy sleep again!

new coughing and throat irritation problem

I've been on CPAP since about April - at first I found it very difficult to get any time at all but over the months I worked up to getting six or more hours per night (yay pad-a-cheeks) - it was all good and I was starting to feel less tired (why I had a sleep study to start with). In mid July I too...
