How often should I change my mask
I know I heard something about changing your mask every 4 to 6 months. What do you think the longest you can go without changing it? I had mine for about 6 months, and I am thinking maybe that's why it's leaking more.

Re: APAP M Series/ nightly stats?
Thanks I will try this, it does seem simple. ==========Resetting LCD Display Data==================== To reset LCD Therapy data (does NOT erase any data from SmartCard): 1. Hold down the (<-) (->) buttons while plugging in the power on the back, wait for 2 beeps or 5 seconds, release buttons. 2. Pre...

APAP M Series/ nightly stats?
Hello can anyone tell me if there is a way to check your average AHI and mask leak for the night, instead of the 7 day average?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Opinion - ComfortGel Nasal
HI John, I feel the same way about Comfortgel, when I have a headache, I have to loosen the straps then I get all kinds of leaks. What is the other mask you use?

Re: Activa Mask
I agree with you, with Apap it seems like it's not giving you enough pressure. I thought it was me. Is that how you feel too. Like really tired in the morning? I recently started on a Respironics machine M Series with A Flex and find this mask is now intolerable to use with the up and down pressure....

Re: sleep apnea and Acid Reflux
O.k. thanks everyone for all the advice. I have been using aciphex for about 3 years. I tried Previcid but I think it gave me headaches. It seems aciphex worked. But for some reason, maybe because I am going through chemo treatments now. I am having more reflux. I will try to sleep elevated tonight....

sleep apnea and Acid Reflux
Hello, are any of you experiencing acid reflux along with your sleep apnea. I take Aciphex, which seems to help, but I notice If I eat something greasy or spicy or just eat too late, I get a relfux, like my throat closes up even while wearing my mask. It's kind of scary. Can anyone relate?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Activa nasal mask
My titrated pressure is 10cm, my flow generator is set at 8-13. I spend about 60% of the time at 8, occasionally the pressure will spike at a little over 12. The main thing is that I feel rested when I get out of bed. Some have complained about the Activa pulsating on their face like an octipus. Fo...

Re: Activa nasal mask
My question would be - if your average is 8.5cm, why are you starting the minimum pressure at 6.5cm ? I haven't heard of increasing pressure to compensate for the mask's intentional leak rate - because that will also increase when you raise the pressure! I thought you should start it lower than you...

Do you think I should increase my pressure with this mask?nosbig17 wrote:The larger volume inside the Activa might affect your treatment pressure, especially if you use a pressure near 7cm or less.

Re: Activa nasal mask
So do you think I should increase the pressure with this mask? I have it on Auto-Pap, but it starts out at 7 and can
go up to 12.
Thanks
go up to 12.
Thanks

Re: Neck aches
Thanks for all the suggestions, I will give them a try. Last night I tried my old Ultra Mirage II mask, and it seems to fit better now, less leaks. It's funny because at first it was giving me problems so I switched to the comfort Gel, but now it gives me problems, it seems to be leaking more. Maybe...

O.k thanks Brenda, those are pretty neat.bdp522 wrote:You can go to http://www.padacheek.com and see if Padacheek has a pad for the neck strap. If she doesn't just ask her about one, she is sure to be able to help. You can also PM PADACHEEK, she is a forum member.
