Better together???? I let them know how "better" it was not to be able to purchase because I am Canadian.
Informed them of a few more things too, politely of course, but in no uncertain terms that I would never again purchase a resmed product because of their recent policies.

Ontario CANADA
I am another one from Ontario, Canada.....I have severe OSA.
I have never heard about any law that requires the Doctor to report my condition to Transport Canada.
Fortunately, because I have compliance data, I can prove that I am 100% compliant should the need ever arise.

Another refux sufferer
I have had acid reflux for many years.....I had a terrible time with it. I delayed going to the doc for a long time, when I did, he sent me to specialist and then I was sent for scope. I was put on pariet. This is a wonder drug......along with my cpap treatment. The two things, OSA and acid reflux s...

interesting artricle
A little incorrect but interesting. CPAP doesn't pump oxygen.....just air. This is the argument my insurance company gave me. They would not pay for a machine that 'just' pumps air. They would pay for one that pumps oxygen. Its a start at least people are starting to know what OSA is and that it is ...

me too
Funny thing, but last night I got rain out too. This never happens to me, but did last night. I use aussie hose, with a fleece cover over it and HH set at 4 with no problem in the past. I think it got quite cool last night in the room. It has been so hot for a long time and the drop in temp with win...

poli strips
Bella I live in Ontario also and can't find poligip strips any where in the Northern Ontario area. I was recently in Ottawa area for eye surgery. We went to many drug stores and to Walmart but could not find them. I am assuming that like Tylenol PM the poli grip strips are only available in the US. ...

Duty and taxes
I have never been charged for any products coming from cpap.com because they mark the package as Medical Supplies. I have however had to pay duty on the Australian Hose both times that I have ordered it. (Got one for my son in law). Any products coming into Canada via Fed Ex or UPS is subject to the...

I quit spending my money on ResMed products once they decided the rest of the world was not 'good enough' to purchase their products online.

WOW RedThunder94 your message sure was off colour and out of place in my opinion. I am assuming (benefit of the doubt) that JoeMillion came here with no bad intentions, only to sell a machine. He unfortunately had no idea of current prices. I think attacking posters in the manner you have shows very...

sounds like
This mask sounds like it may be the answer for those of us who love the nasal pillows but have to tape our mouths.
I'll be watching and waiting for more results.

This is strange
Living in the north....way north, we have tiny bugs called black fies......they are awful little things and bite huge hunks out of people. For years I could walk in the bush, garden do whatever and the black flies and mosquitoes would not touch me. Now the black flies are eating me alive. The only d...

nasal pillows
I agree with Nighthawkeye. For me, the nasal pillows work the best. Full Face masks cause me to be even more congested and I had to use a breathrite strip with FF mask. My problem is that I just can't keep my mouth shut....no comments please <grin> So I thought I was stuck using the FF mask until I ...
