How do YOU fill your M-series Humidifier?
Hello everyone! It's been a while and hope everyone is doing well. Anyway, when I first went to my DME for my apap 'orientation', the RT told me to fill the tank for the humidifier by actually flipping open the little lock tab on its side and pouring water in it up to the "fill line"......but then w...

Re: Zen of the Mask
This is a good post......I hope to form a good 'relationship' with the mask as mentioned on here a lot, but so far, I don't think I have. I keep shutting off the machine and taking the mask off after just 4 hours of therapy.
Apparently, I haven't found the zen of the mask, but I hope to.

Re: Curiosity Thread starting again Where do you live?
I like this thread!
I was born in the Dominican Republic, lived there until I was 7 and moved to the US to Jersey........been in Jersey ever since (almost 25 years).....but I HATE the winter, so I'm currently dreaming of moving somewhere less cold.

Re: Cpap and women
Me too! I'm a chick and was started on my apap this past Wednesday. I do kinda fit the "stereotype", I'm 5ft 1in and weigh about 190 lbs, so I'm considered obese.........but now thinking back about how much my family and friends would tease me about being a "sleepyhead" and how 8 hours of sleep was ...

First Night on APAP at wrong setting......
Hello again! I must report my first night on apap.......it went well despite having the wrong pressure (will explain)! But first, I must mention that my experience with Apria went very smooth.....I went to the local Apria branch to pick up my machine and ready to fight tooth and nail for the one I w...

Hi All! I'm a noob......just signed up today, but I've been lurking so long, I feel like I know you all. All of your encouragement to each other has helped me as well because instead of being scared out of my mind like I was before, now I'm still scared, but at the same time excited to start my ther...
