Re: Shhh... don't tell Resmed ... it's a secret

ResMed has put the export to csv back in the program with ResScan 3.7 The CSV export in ResScan 3.7 is for summary data only. The CSV export function in Autoscan 5.7 was for detailed data. Cheers, Bill True, but at least 3.7 will export usage time, Avg Pres, AI, HI and leak which is what most peopl...

Re: Shhh... don't tell Resmed ... it's a secret

I was mucho disappointed when I discovered we lost that csv export ability w/ResScan. *sigh* And then I was switched to the Resmed VPAP Auto which REQUIRES at least ResScan 3.4 and gave up on exporting to Excel (which I had never used before) to generate that table since ResScan wouldn't allow the ...

I had the same thing happen. Very poor design.
I sent it back and it was replaced under warranty.

If it was me, I would probably delete the program using the control panel and then reinstall. See if that helps

Re: Smart Card Reader ACR38 drivers for WIndows XP Por SP3

I have a desktop running WinXP Pro with SP3 and ResScan 3.5. Works fine.
Just checked my laptop running WinXP Pro with SP3 and ResScan 3.7. Also works fine.

Clinical Manual for M Series APAP with C-Flex

Just purchased a M series APAP with C-Flex Model DS500S to be used by my brother who has recently been DX with SA and has no insurance (does have the RX for an APAP). However, the unit only came with the User Manual, not the Provider/Clinical Manual. I am only used to the Resmed and PB units and don...

Re: I am now DME-free!

My insurance works the same way. I purchase the item out of pocket and then submit the receipt to Aetna and get the $ back in about 1.5 months.
My policy is unique in that it pays 100% even for out of network charges which is different from most policies.

Re: Central Sleep Apneas

I have seen that ResMed makes a new machine that is "designed" for Central Sleep Apnea. The Vpap Adapt SV. I believe the new machine is called the S8 Autoset II, is this correct? No, the S8 AutoSet II is just an AutoPAP. It is not what you are looking for if you need a machine designed for CSA. I w...

Re: Finally: Results from my Data Card

BTW the leak rate for the 431 at 11 is 30 LPM. The reported leak rate from the ResMed machines already has a mask leak rate subtracted from it. That is why any leak rate above 0.0 is not good assuming that you have the proper mask used as input. This is different from the other manufactures. Others...

Re: Pressure too high cause tons of hypopneas?

I believe the PB 420E and Sandman can be set to respond to Apneas over 10cm/h20.
I have the PB 420E and the ResMed S8 AutoSet II. I do find that the ResMed is quieter than the 420E.

Re: Resmed Software?

The software is specific to the machine. AutoScan will work with some ResMed machines, but for the latest machines (S8 II series) you need the ResScan 3.4 or 3.5. Also, ResScan 3.4 will not run on Vista, while 3.5 will run on both XP and Vista. PB uses different software for the 420E than they use f...
