How to access info on Elite II?
Well, I finally got the Elite II I ahve wanted since starting this almost one year ago. Unfortunately the RT was unable to inform me on how to get to the patient data via the screen. Can anyone help with this info? On a side note, I have a box of masks that for one reason or another did not work out...

Re: OT: Humira?
I am not on the board, but my husband is and he told me about your post. I am taking Humira for my RA. Just started, and have taken 3 shots to date. The first one I injected into my thigh and it hurt like #$&%. The next two I did in my stomach and my husband gave them to me. Iced before the shot and...

Papcap and Hans Rudolph?
Has anyone used a Papcap with the HR V2? I have been using a Respironics chinstrap and have learned to truly dislike it. It has really started to make my jaw hurt by morning. My jaw drops so much when I sleep that I have to use a chinstrap.

Re: FULL FACE MASK RECOMENDATION PLEASE
After trying just about every mask on the market I finally have a combination that works for me. The Hans Rudolph V2 and a chin strap finally stopped my jaw drop which led to dry mouth. If you go for the V2 make sure you measure carefully as they do seem to run larger than normal, I ended up with a ...

Re: New Probasics Zzz Mask Thread
Similar experience for me with the Zzz mask. I loved the light weight but could not keep it from leaking. I tried a Medium but wish now I had gone for a Small size. I have since moved on to the Hans Rudolph V2 (small) and having my best success yet. I do still have to wear a chin strap as my jaw dro...

Re: is it safe to light a match????
So this guy goes to his Dr and says "Doc you have to help me, I have been having these silent gaseous emissions all the time. In fact I just had another one. What am I gonna do?" The Dr says "First thing is to get you a hearing test!!" Good luck on the dry mouth. I have been fighting this for quite ...

Re: Good DME in Lakewood, WA - OptionCare
Well, I need to put in a plug for my local Option Care out here on Whidbey Island too! Diana is a one person shop and an RT who knows her stuff. I have had nothing but the best care since I switched over to her from the DME from hell a few months ago.

Re: Which facemask with a short beard?
Masks I have tried with little or no success for me include: Quattro - Leaked like a sieve on both sides of my nose. Nothing to do with my beard, it just leaked. Ultra Mirage - Also leaked like crazy. Comfort Gel - Leaks around the nose and eyes. ComfortFull 2 - Leaked and major blisters on my nose ...

Re: Were you prescribed a humidifier?
Not only one HH but two. The one built into the Pro M was not sufficient to stop my dry mouth so my sleep Doc ordered a second stand alone H2 unit. Worked like a champ, no more dry mouth for me. The only problem is if i don't use my FF mask I get a mask and hose full of water. Using my FF mask there...

Re: Play MASK ROULETTE. Give a mask, get a mask, win a mask?
I have several masks that I just cannot wear and I woul dlike to offer them up for trade. 1. I have an Optilife with all sizes of pillows and cushions. They have all been tried on but used very little. 2. A Comfort Gel nasal mask size S/M I think I wore a total of three times before giving up on get...

Nine copies of Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" and the Wes Montgomery Box Set. Without the jazz there is no reason for CPAP!!

Re: I give up
I am a mover at night too. I recently changed over to a F&P Flexifit 432 and it is great for side sleeping, at least for me it is. The Quattro just never worked for me. It was comfortable but leaked like my granny's colander. Good luck in your search and don't give up.

Finally fixed my dry mouth problems!
This has been quite a journey for me in getting to the point where I am getting a good night of sleep. I have tried countless masks and always had trouble with dry mouth during the night to the point of being almost painful. I was also still snoring in my mask, even a nasal mask (Activa). My sleep D...

Re: Anyone interested in exchanging masks?
Thanks, I have been to the CPAPAuction site and will more than likely use it in the future. In this case, I am not looking to auction the masks but to try and swap them with someone who wants to try these two out. If there are no takers then I may try and auction them off. I was initially hoping tha...

Anyone interested in exchanging masks?
I hope this is an appropriate place to do this. I have several masks that just flat did not work for me, the Optilife nasal pillow/cushion and a Comfortgel nasal S/M to be specific. I am interested in trading either of these for a lightly used Hybrid or a Soyala full face. I already have a Liberty s...
