What a great thread this has been! It has convinced me the benefits of APAP while describing many of the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of this type of machine. Thanks for keeping the data flowing, and the time and effort it took to share it with all of us.

What is it with Doctors not liking APAP's? It's driving me crazy trying to persuade my doctor to change my script to an APAP. We shouldn't have to beg for something that is obviously more beneficial - especially over the long run when things such as body weight and various medical issues can change....
