Wulfman, What is the "boiling" routine? The Respironics gel masks can be boiled and fitted to fit to one's face. Instructions to do this should be in the user's manual that came with the mask. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/1802 From the above link: "The ComfortGel is the upgrade to the very popu...

[quote="Wulfman"]Mark,

I hate to burst your bubble, but that article is over 2 years old. Respironics has discontinued the whole Legacy series. Unfortunately, they still carried over the Plus model (non-data-capable) into their M Series line.

I might be geeking it up here a bit, but here is a fascinating article from the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine: http://ajrccm.atsjournals.org/cgi/content/full/167/5/716?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&titleabstract=self-titration+&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&resource...

Respironics Remstar Plus CPAP to be discontinued

Not sure if anyone has heard this or not. Could be a good time to buy a Remstar Plus if you could not previously afford one. They are selling for only $299.00

Mark0680 asked for someone to present the other side of the issue or debate that is up for consideration. And I think myapapismadhot merely attempted to help Mark0680 and others here analytically explore the other side of that issue. Yes, my point was here we have people that are so against adjusti...

Question for everyone. I have been reading up on this debate here in the forums and have yet to come across any evidence why one should not take the therapy into their own hands. Is there legal evidence or any cases to show why this is a bad idea, and why one should not be able to adjust their own p...

[quote="echo"] I just got a copy of my sleep doc's files the other day... they put in their files that I was mouth taping and that I said it was helping with my dry mouth and that I was sleeping better. No judgement At the appointment when I told them that, they looked at me incredulously but didn't...

Snoredog - what do you know? How can YOU make such irresponsible random statements about how adjusting pressure "couldn't possibly" affect you? Do YOU know the medical history of every patient you, again, irresponsibly encourage to set their own pressure by providing instructions? What if this guy ...

Re: Any hints on adjusting features on ResMed S8 AutoSet II?

I am not sure how one goes through months of data for the tracking I want to do. Like, do my high pressures relate to the nights I kept having kinks in the hose? Does the smart data he'll receive before our next appointment drill down to each night, or is it more trends at that point? My Doctor did...
