Re: OSCAR Question

Thank you, Blue Dragon, you have solved the mystery! When DST went away recently, I didn't bother to change the time on the CPAP. I see now that I couldn't expect the program to import something that technically hasn't happened yet.

This is a great group and I thank you all for your participation.

Re: OSCAR Question

Last night I had two sleep sessions interrupted by a two minute lapse where I turned off the machine and turned back on. All the files are on the sd card but OSCAR is only reporting one session--the first one that was one hour 40 minutes. The second session that was 5 hours 50 minutes is not being c...

Re: Overall Thoughts

Thanks for the thoughts. Leaks are one of the things I try to control. Using an Airfit F30 mask as I tend to be a mouth breather and it seeps air around the sides depending on head position. Also have a mustache which doesn't help. Used nasal pillows, Swift LT for many years but always woke up with ...

Overall Thoughts

Hi All, So I've been using my OSCAR software for almost a year now and have lots of data. To me, the results I'm seeing are good but I was just wondering if some of the more educated folks could glance at my data and let me know if they see anything that needs attention. This is a great group and an...

Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please

Interesting article leading me to believe the only difference between cpap and bipap is software related.

Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i

Use a magic marker to mark on the velcro strap at the very tip of the "adjustment" strap on all the straps (ie left right upper / lower / crown top head straps) to give you a reference point, letting you know where your quality adjustment settings are at, then you can fine tune from there to make ti...

Leaks and AHI Numbers

Hi All, Been working the last week to get my large leak rate down. Using the F30i mask rates go from high to low inexplicably. Been as low as 4.69 and as high as 46.25. Last night I switched back to the F30 and leak rate was 2.92--not bad. Tried nasal pillows also, have a Swift LT I used for years b...

Re: New ResMed Aircurve V10 Auto

I'm really amazed that things just keep getting better. My AHI index went from 12.9 to 6.6 to 5.5 to 2.3 to 1.3 to 1.1 to .55 last night. I guess this is meant as encouragement to folks trying to find the right setting--small tweaks do indeed make for large improvements! So happy I bought the new Re...

Re: New ResMed Aircurve V10 Auto

Hi All, After 2 nights with major leaks on my F30i mask, I switched to my Swift LT nasal pillows and achieved a reasonable night without leakage. Have posted last nights Oscar report. Only issue I had was exhalation still seems a little hard for me, fighting to breathe out. Any recommendations for a...

Re: New ResMed Aircurve V10 Auto

Got my first night of Oscar in. I see a lot of apneas when I first started using and was trying to get adjusted to the machine but after the first 1.5 hours things seemed to smooth out. Notice some mask leaks also. Does anyone have any comments? Thanks screenshot-20200228-064512.png screenshot-20200...

New ResMed Aircurve V10 Auto

So I purchased a used Aircurve V10Auto after using a Respironics BiPap Pro with over 35000 hours on it for 13 years. I listed the settings below and wonder if there are any recommendations to adjust--BiPap pro setting was 12/8 and worked fine for me for years but have no data to support it. Settings...

Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i

I just switched to an F30i from an F30. I really liked the F30 but moving around would cause leaks as the hose attaches to the mask and the weight of the hose and movement would cause leaks. The F30i totally eliminates this but I have two issues so far. The F30i is noisier than the F30. Also, the F3...
