Hoses and Masks to Giveaway
Hi, It has been a long time since I have posted but I wanted to know if there is anyone that could use Resmed ClimateLine hoses or the Amara View mask in size large. I have several gently used ones that have lots of life left in them and I don't want to throw them out. They are available for pick-up...

Re: Help with S9 Oximeter Adapter
Thanks for the suggestion. I took the machine and cable in to the Sleep Clinic and it turns out that they gave me the wrong probes. The ones I had attached fine but were not recognized by the cable. Everything seems to be working well now.

Help with S9 Oximeter Adapter
Hi, I am supposed to start a week long pulse oximeter study at home, tonight. The Sleep Clinic sent me the adapter with some simple instructions and 3 sat probes. I set up the equipment following their directions but it is not working. The machine keeps displaying: Insert SD Card or press dial to ac...

Re: Help with SleepyHead Graphs
Thanks, Pugsy. I will try your suggestions and if I am unsuccessful, I will message you my number. I am so sorry to be so needy and to be taking up your time. I tried all the obvious things but I wasn't getting anywhere.

Re: Help with SleepyHead Graphs
Whoops. Now, I am no longer getting any graph data. My son downloaded version 9.3 and I turned off the "use pixmap caching" but now that graph area remains blank. I do not even see the current day's graphs. I am not sure what is going on. I can see the data for each day except for 6/16 when the SD c...

Re: Can high humidity cause an infection?
The number of sinus infections you have had seems excessive. I have chronic health issues and frequently cycle on and off of high doses of steroids. The steroids weaken my immune system but I have never had a sinus infection since starting CPAP five years ago. At this point, I am concerned that you ...

Re: Help with SleepyHead Graphs
It appears that my son downloaded V 9.2 and not 9.3. The laptop is running Windows 7. I will try your suggestions and see if that works. Thanks!

High Respiratory Rate noted by SleepyHead
I have had my S9 Autoset for only 4 days now and i just started using Sleepyhead. I love looking at data and graphs so it is interesting to see how much more information is available compared to my old M Series and Encore 1.0. I have noted that my respiratory rate is very high while i sleep and is s...

Help with SleepyHead Graphs
My son was able to get SleepyHead downloaded, to my laptop but I am having an issue with the graphs. I am able to view the data for each day but it only shows the graphs for the most recent day. When i change the day of the week, on the calender, the graphs do not change despite the data changing. A...

Re: 6 year old new to CPAP, mask help
Great. Thanks for the extra information. I went to your blog and I have to say your kids are adorable. Ella is a little doll and you are doing an amazing job. She looks so happy and very engaged. Now, to the mask issue. It appears that a nasal mask is just not an option for Ella so we will have to w...

Re: Getting my New S9 Autoset Tomorrow!
i had a much better night last night, although it could have been all the Margaritas I had at dinner. LOL. I set the machine at 7 cm for the min and 11 cm for the high, leaving the EPR at 2. I did not feel air hungry and slept quite well. My AHI was great and my average pressure was 10. I need to tw...

Re: 6 year old new to CPAP, mask help
I work as a Pedi RT at a large children's hospital. I have to say that mask-patient interface is always our biggest challenge, when it comes to providing non-invasive ventilation to our little patients. This is a difficult situation but not impossible and believe it or not, the options are a million...

Re: Getting my New S9 Autoset Tomorrow!
Good to know. I think I will increase the minimum to 7 cm and leave the EPR at 2 tonight. If that doesn't the seem to do it, then I will reduce the EPR to 1.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Getting my New S9 Autoset Tomorrow!
Thanks for the link, Pugsy. I will order the hose cover. I don't like the noise from the hose or having plastic touch me. I, also, need to find someone that sells the Hozer to hold my tubing. I bought my original Hozer our sponsor but they no longer carry it for some reason. I left my old one with m...
