Life of a CPAP machine?
My machine is now around 10 years old, and I'm wondering - Do they ever die? Is there a considered useable life span?

Well, after reading all that was posted here about the mask, I did only one thing and WHAT a difference! I hadn't had a chance to get the strap cushions or the ear plugs but I read that loosening the hose at the top strap and letting it move free might help. It REALLY did! I actually like the mask n...

Questions for users of Opus 360
This is a pretty good mask, though I don't like the hose going up the front of my head. I just read how I can unfasten it and move it around.
But the soft plastic nasal pillows often pull up from their seal in the hose apparatus and leak. Has anyone had luck taping these?

Have you tried an oral mask? I have this one that I use when my sinuses are bad. https://www.cpap.com/viewImage.php?PNum=1551&Image=Oracle-452.jpg Mine doesn't have the strap, but needs it so I retrofitted it with a headband. The only drawback I've found is that you have to have the humidifier fairl...

In answer to the last question...I remember my first night on the machine.... I couldn't get the mask right, it blew in my eyes, slipped off my face, caused chest pain. After a couple hours of "trying" I literally threw it (the mask, not the machine) across the room. Called the Dr back and said I'd ...

Well.....I called it nerve damage, I mentioned it to the Dr and he didn't say it wasn't...but I call it that because I don't know what else to call it. Right under my right sinus, I get severe sharp pains every time a mask presses...and it's been at least 3 years since I wore a mask that touched the...
