My 3 yr old grandson likes to help us put our masks together & hook our hoses to the machines when he stays over. He is not bothered at all by the equipment.

My husband has the same issue with his S8 Elite II. It was sent back to the company, and came back with the answer that it was not meant to display pressure. This was after we were told by a company tech that it should indeed show pressure.

Their Final Answer: ResMed now says that the S8 Elite II is not meant to not show a pressure reading in the daily Efficacy Data! How this is an improvement over the S8 Elite, i don't know. Machine is on its way back to us.

Funny that 3 different techs said it was a problem before.

Update - Husband's S8 Elite II was sent back to ResMed by DME for that very reason: Pressure showed "0", when accessing Efficacy Data. All other readings were OK. sk, my husband's S8 Elite II also showed Pressure 0 in the Efficacy data. He called ResMed & they said to send the machine back.

We also are a 2 cpap couple. No more snoring from him, no more gasping from me. It's wonderful!

Can't access Efficacy Data without going thru Clinical Menu every time in the S8 Elite II. Does anyone know if this machine is different than the S8 Elite?

Also, when I do check the Efficacy Data, the pressure always says 0. Anyone know why it would do this?
