Can a cpap smart card be read with the smart card reader that is installed on many desktop computers from the manufacturer?

I may be way off on this but the only thing that has changed in the last three months is that I have lost about 20 pounds.

I agree with hogdaddy. My sleep study cost is excess of four thousand dollars for about 9 hrs time and of course they weren't able to get all the info on the first visit. Pretty good money maker. Thanks for your responses to my posting. I turned down the pressure to 12cm and that appears to have resolved the problem.

Sore Lungs
I have been on CPAP for about 3 months. My pressure is set to 14cm.
In the last two weeks my lungs are sore in the morning. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix.

S8 Compact
I have been using the S8 Compact for about two weeks now. From the information that I have been able to get on this unit it does not have a data card and only displays compliance information.
