WONDERFUL to know there are sleep labs that actually do multi-night titration studies. The few hours most labs spend doing a titration during a single night under ABSURD sleeping conditions is (IMHO) one click short of "completely useless". I have learned (the hard way) that my pressure requirements...

consider the little extra out-of-pocket to get the AUTO, if for no other reason than to do a pressure titration now and then. compare that with spending weeks and months wondering "is my pressure set correctly?", then having to beg for another sleep study / titration. or worse have a sleep tech bump...

couple of things you should know about melatonin... 1. TIMING is VERY important, take it about an hour before you plan to sleep. It's NOT a vitamin, don't try to take lots of it at all times of the day or night. Rather it's a chemical signal that tells your brain to start it's nightly routine, inclu...

Re: have you tried earplugs?

I have discovered earplugs that are very gentle and very effective. (sorry I don't remember the brand, I bought a whole box of them online somewhere). I became addicted to using them when I am flying. I travel a lot for my work, fly commercial, military (as a passenger), and I also pilot small plan...

I TOTALLY DISAGREE

What started with mere HYSTERICS is now HYSTERICAL! (that's progress) ok, I agree with that part. ...new and strange lifeforms were evolving in our HH reservoirs and crawling up our heated hoses to invade our nasopharyngeal passages and (eventually) gain control of the planet, (this may have alread...

Re: How do you post "click here" to go somewhere?

I know about tinyurl, but I think there seems to be a way to post text that has a link behind it. jskinner and rested gal often post things where you click particular text to go somewhere else. Birdshell posted it in this thread: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t18609/Mask-Decoration-Contest-Fini...

I admit I was starting to worry about you. Another month or two we might have organized a search party. (Or at least a PARTY in your honor!) What have I to say, I have been off the board for at least as long or longer, in fact out of the country most of that time. I recall your "Patient's Bill of Ri...
