Spam messages in cpaptalk Inbox?

Is anyone else getting spam messages titled "Important Information" in their inbox on cpaptalk.com? I've gotten the same one two days in a row.

My guess is that the card reader drivers have not been updated to work with Vista yet. There are many manufacturers that did not do any roll-back drivers and will only write Vista drivers for new products. It's a main reason I'm sticking to XP, although I realize new computer owners may not have a c...

I consider myself lucky because in the 14 years I've used CPAP I've never had any of these 3 or 4 hours nights that most go thru at the beginning. I've always had 7 to 10 hours each stretch. Also over that 14 year span there has only been 5 times that I have not used it. One of those times included ...

I guess you are upset about it counting as carry-on as opposed to having to carry it on. Personally, I am not letting that machine out of my sight on trips. I do not trust an airline to take car of a machine like that. I would carry it on and be happy.

Re: Read the link

I finally got mine working by doing exactly the steps you outlined except one difference. Even after running the setup of the correct device drivers, they still showed up as not being installed. So the next time I did it and XP started the found new hardware screens, I let XP find the drivers. I did...

Chances are most (not all), but most are tied to the system date & time on the computer. If you have Windows XP and are set to auto update,. you already have the fix. If you are not set to auto update, go to Windows update now and you can downlaod the fix.

I still have felt about the same each morning as previously. It's just waking up more than usual during the night. Could be getting used to the mask, but it seems I have to "work" more in my breathing than when it was at a constant pressure. Also , keeping in mind that my old machine had not been to...

New to C-Flex, question.

As I noted in another thread I had used the same CPAP machine since 1993 until 2 nights ago. I now have the Remstar Pro 2 w/ C-Flex. I've slept rather restless the last 2 nights and I'm sure it's trying to get used to this new setup. For those that had been on a constant pressure CPAP for a long tim...

If it does, then I'm gonna sneek a couple of hours of my mask on my wife, maybe the CPAP can find that drive

Have you thought about utilizing the data recording capabilities of your new machine to see if your pressure needs tweaking after 14 years? Oh yes.. but after $400 plus out of my pocket right now, the other $200 for the software and reader will have to wait a couple of months. But that's the reason...

A CPAP Workhorse

Well tonight for the first time since 1993 (that's 14 years) I will be using a new CPAP machine. I get the Remstar Pro Series 2 w/ C-Flex today and will retire my Remstar Classic. I checked the hours this morning and it was at 35886.4. That's alot of hours to have never had to replace a fuse, never ...

CPAP Software

I'm expecting my Remstar Pro Series 2 (w/C-Flex) tomorrow. I was able to go thru billmyinsurance.com and get everything with no problem. What I did not ask (more because of $$$) was does insurance cover the Encore software and reader? My guess is that is something that I will have to buy outright si...
