Ultra Mirage FFM- what mods have you made
I am a side/tummy sleeper. I am finding it difficult at times to keep from having leaks. Usually I wake up several times in the night to wiggle everything back in place. When I get the mask adjusted for my chin --I get leaks at the bridge of my nose. I adjust the bridge portion and it is too tight f...

Re: Do I need a Sandman??? (could use Snoredog's Advice)
Hi, I have an auto. You can look at my data uploads and see some of the difference that I experienced with the auto's algorhythm. My numbers have only improved since my last upload. That is until it took a tumble off of the bedside table last week. (Don't get an integrated humidifier--but that is an...

Re: HELP!! Sandman auto crash
Check out this. https://www.cpap.com/productpage-bundle/puritan-bennet-sandman-auto-cpap-hc150-stand-alone-humidifier-bundle.html This is what I am switching to. That way I can use the data equipment that I already have. I don't think in or out of the states has anything to do with it. This is not u...

Re: Stand beside humidifiers and Sandman
Sandman makes an auto without the humidifier. I will be talking to CPAP.com on Monday about a new machine. My complaints with the auto HC prior to this incident has been: Humidifier if not seated properly causes pressure problems. I have experienced this multiple times. When taking a potty break in ...

Re: HELP!! Sandman auto crash
as a guy who takes things apart (and can never get them back together) I knew it wouldn't be under warranty due to the type of incident. I took it apart and it was a mess. Water deep into the motor. I have liked the auto but I have had more difficulty with the attached humidifier. It is fiddly to g...

Re: HELP!! Sandman auto crash
Yep, it's DOA!
It is one of the few times since I started hanging my hose from the wall on an elastic that I didn't do it. I had just come back from out of town and too lazy to do it. My next cpap will not have a built in humidifier. I will get a separate one.
Oh well.

Re: HELP!! Sandman auto crash
Ok, this is what I have done.
I was under the impression that the was no water in it. I was mistaken. I removed the air filter and felt the sponges behind that. They were sopping wet. Bought it from CPAP.com I do have clinition manuals but no biomed manuals.
Thanks,
Trish

My 2 mo auto fell off of the bedside table this morning. It tries to start but then I get a service message. Can anyone help? Glad I still have my M plus as backup. It's better than nothing.

Re: Why is the FFM so scary???
I suffered from pre treatment increasing claustrophobia. This continued even while I was wearing the nasal pillows. Now with a ffm I can have the sheets over my head comfortably. Or even close the bathroom door.

Re: Resmed Liberty difference b/w S and L mask?
Hi! I've tried the Liberty on a few of my patients, and only had success with 2 of them, and they were both asian, so anitomically, that's who I've found it works well for. The large mask is wider in the mouth. The pillows, contrary to some other advice on here, should be the SMALLEST possible. Lar...
