Re: Full Face Mask striking out Need help finding another one
FWIW--I keep trying the F&P as being the least instrusive, but have never gotten through a night: the mask looms over one's eyes, and finally i feel like the "Alien" creature is clamped to my face. I would love to find a FF mask that was not unnerving, but in the meantime i stick with the Activa wit...

Re: THE CPAP SOUND BAFFLE SYSTEM™
I am a lousy sleeper and therefore always plug my ears into a CD or BBC or iPod with a timer. So, i rarely hear anything, especially the 180# dog arfing to go out or get petted. Nor do i particularly hear the man next to me hacking and coughing (he doesn't know that i am usually oblivious to his noi...

Re: RESMED RESSCAN 3.7 SOFTWARE
But we all know how to change the settings on our ResMeds: we learned it on this valuable site: Get into Clinical Menu, take it from there. Heck, even i can do that. All we want is full information on how or if the therapy is working. That's all. (CPAP.Com sent my data card reader in ONE day!!!!! No...

What to buy to get ResMed S8 readouts?
Okay, i have had it. Cannot get more than 4 day's readout, DME won't do that anyway, no new machine for another seven years, so our ResMeds need your wise advice: 1 ResScan 3.7 software? I have seen this for sale. 2 A Reader of some kind??? 3 A UBS cord to plug in???? 4 An old or used otherwise usel...

Verrry interesting! I do not understand why we also need
a $70 USB cord? (This is listed on CPAP.COM ResScan components.)

Re: has anyone found a mask that doesn't leak?
Ha.I sent in all my careful face measurements to the cpap.com, then starting checking each FF mask and nasal mask. To my unsurprise, every EVERY mask elicited the statement: "This mask would not be appropriate for your face type...and will probably kill you in a week." So, now what? I've been trying...

Re: Taping question/Skincare regimen for women of the mask?
Worst cpap night of my life last night: i had slathered my face in the morning with a $400 dollop of pterodactyl poo due to extreme wrinkliness caused by desperation mouthtaping (NOT old age, geez), and had carefully washed activa mask, then at bedtime carefully swabbed around my nose with astringen...

OwlCreek Observer writes: In many cases, especially in recent years, military members are covered by Tricare, which is like any insurance plan with co-pays. If you're interested, you can read an in-depth explanation of the system at this site. For those who believe that it's still too good a deal, t...

Regenesis pillow vs SleePAP CPAP Pillow?
How do they compare? I have the latter, but the cutout is quite too large to accommodate any of my 8 masks (otherwise it is fine). As my AHIs are intractably 5.0 up to 11.0, a different pillow is kinda my last hope of reducing AHIs. At this point, i can't really care about $$. TIA for any opinions a...

HEALTH CARE (the real kind) Want cheaper? European and Nordic countries--a fraction of the cost. Why? Single-payer, private and govt. regulated, private with oversight committees, but all without profits. And usually no pay for service; that just encourages greed and sloppiness. (As a teacher i get ...

Great news! I wish any one of my dozen masks worked half as well.
But, with all that wonderful energy, perhaps you could come over to my
house--a decade of work to catch up on...! LOL

Any human size FFmasks?
F&P431 fits, but is so overly capacious a Honey Badger could sleep in it. So i line the mask with Moleskin, cram handfuls of pillow polyfill into the gaping cavity, but it feels like sleeping in a wind chamber with a WalMart attached. I see DME soon, and am wondering about Quattro or Activa FF. Do y...
