Re: 10 sec apneas on ResScan?

Good morning, well I was amazed to discover that I haven't used Encore Pro and My Encore since November 2008! I have forgotten how to maneuver everything and so will have to work on it. Encore Pro tells me I have had an average of .7 AHI since the start of 2010. Thanks for suggesting the gradual low...

Re: 10 sec apneas on ResScan?

John, thanks for your interest. I will post my numbers over the weekend. Of course, the dentist thinks I'm an excellent candidate for the oral appliance(Somnodent) I slept with it last night. No difficulty but I realize it's only the beginning. I missed my cpap! I may use both for a while cause who ...

Re: 10 sec apneas on ResScan?

Hi- I'm kind of late to the discussion but I wanted to add my story. Here goes: Blue Cross/Blue Shield approved me for E0486 - oral appliance. The dentist required payment up front. It was $361 for an exam and evaluation and $3,200 for Somnodent! This is in addition to $390 of x-rays. I am waiting t...

Wendy, I bought the small papillow and although I complained about it intially, it is now the only pillow I use. It is a plump little thing that I can swing around various ways. I love to sleep with my arms lifted along side my head and the small size allows this easily. I don't have any experience ...

How am I doing?

Hello, I totally appreciated the posts in the past with Jerry working with his MyEncore data. I found the posts that said to focus on how you feel to be your guide very helpful. But...here's some data: AHI consistently under 3, SI under 5 and average apnea duration=12 sec. During my sleep study, my ...

Time for replacement?

Can someone please describe how you know when you need to replace your cpap machine? Does the machine just give up the ghost all at once or does something happen gradually? Does the sound of the machine change over time? Thank you.

sorry, no recall regarding the sleep study but since I've been on CPAP my dreams are very much related to working out my life's problems. I was always a "big dreamer" and CPAP has restored my dreaming.

thank you, Lee Lee. Isn't it strange? I had all this stomach rumbling. I hope that it is connected with the head cold because I don't want to experience this again!
