Setting for Spirit Autoset

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what setting I should set in the clinical menu for mask type? Available settings are:

Mirage
Ultra
Mir Full
Standard

Thanks,

Rob

Soyala will beat it HANDS DOWN for quietness. You can't hear the Soyala making any noise at all, and it doesn't produce a large jet of exhaust.
Well, that critique has convinced me! Going to order a Soyola now.

Swift II vs. Soyola?

Does anyone have an opinion on:

1) quietness of Swift II versus quietness of Soyola?

2) Comfort of both of the above?

Thanks,

Rob

I get it! That sounds like a good plan for those who have TV in the bedroom.

Two questions: re hose and noise

I have two questions, as the subject line suggests: 1) I have the Aussi Heated Hose, and a comfort-curve mask. The comfort curve has a non-standard coupling to their own, proprietary hose. Since the comfort-curve won't connect to the hose, I'm wondering if there is some third-party product out there...

A year and a half ago, I bought a Resmed Spirit, with the Reslink and AutoScan software. My installation media for the software went missing, so I called cpap.com to get (purchase) another copy. They then said that they wouldn't sell it to me. So essentially I purchased an expensive addon to my expe...

Is that actually the "Opti-Life" nasal pillow system?

Thanks,

Quietest mask/cpap combo?

Hi, For the last year, I haven't used my cpap machine, because i found myself waking up at 4:00am every morning, and being unable to get back to sleep. Add in the fact that the noise of the machine was keeping my wife awake as well, and you have a prescription for non-compliance. But after my yearly...

CPAP and Air Travel to US from Canada

Hi,

I'm going to a conference in San Francisco this Sunday, and obviously I'll need to take my Spirit with me. What is the procedure for a Canadian traveling to the US via air, with respect to taking the CPAP along? Also, should I pack it or carry it on?

Thanks,

Rob

Last night, for the first time, I actually fell asleep with the light on - before putting my mask on. My wife turned the light off, and I was so out of it that I actually slept the entire night without the mask. Needless to say, I'm not feeling at my best today.

I'll try again tonight.

Rob, is the kitten in the picture a "Scottish Fold"? Cute, whatever it is. Hi, That's Cookie! We adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 10 days old. We were bottle feeding her pretty much around the clock - every 4 hours. She's just over a year old now, and the best cat I've ever had. Her...

Tonight I'll try to limit water consumption and keep the mask on if I wake. I'll report back tomorrow.

Constantly waking around 3:30 or 4:30 AM

Hi folks, Any ideas for dealing with constantly waking early in the morning? What typically happens, is that when I wake, I get up and go to the washroom. Then, I'm usually so non-compus mentus that I neglect to put my Swift back on. And it isn't that I don't like the Swift - in fact I love it! I ca...

Hi,

Since I got a ResLink, by default I also have an Oxymeter. I use it occasionally out of interest, to see how apnea and hypopnea affect my oxygen saturation. Not out of concern; just out of interest.
