Re: Is BiPAP considered life support?
Using any form of XPAP, is no more a form of life support than, eating correctly or doing all the other things needed to keep us alive. Proper treatment will prolong most lives, so you can enjoy using XPAP longer.

Re: Dreamstation One Replacement Foam Assembly (With or Without Foam) now Available on Amazon
Sounds like a pretty good bussiness, say you make the orgional part used in the orgional XPAP sell it to Phillips, it turns out to be unsafe, but they and Philips both get paid. Then the problems start, whistles are blown. You issue a recall, but are slow to fix the product, or return the money. The...

We are in a pandemic.
If you can't travel safely, without putting others at risk, the solution is for *you* not to travel. You had a choice, the people surrounding you didn't.

Re: Cleaning the HumidX cartridge
Actually, ResMed say not to rinse the cartridges as water will ruin them. In order to work, the cartridges have to be filled with some type of humidifying gel, similar to what's used in cigar humidors or musical instrument storage. When you exhale, the cartridge absorbs some of the moisture from yo...

Made in any other country, means U.S. Dollars are being sent to countries that are as best, our friends, at worst our enemies. That makes their economies strong and ours weak. Re: CPAP Pressure Discrepancy
Obsessing over .1cm of XPAP pressure is like building a house using plans written in mm. The fools are the manufacturers. that make the machines adjustable by .1cm. I could see .5 cm as a setting, maybe but .1cm is useless, your body wouldn't notice the change. Air pressure all around us changes, ev...

Re: mandated doctor appointments for supplies?
As Pugsy said, "It depends on your insurance". And the Insurance companies are increasingly adding hoops and obstacles to avoid paying benefits. Sounds penny-wise and pound-foolish to pay for unneeded doctor visits while ultimately paying for supplies anyway. It's a wind fall for the medical indust...

Re: CPAP Pressure Discrepancy
What matters is results, not numbers, as long as its keeping your airway open and it's keeping it open you are good to go, that's probably one reason they don't want us controlling our own treatment. Not everyone knows what its about or how it works, worrying about things you can't change unnecessar...

Resvent ibreeze, The name alone is a RED FLAG, first name starts with R knockoff for Resmed. Second name start with I, knockoff for I products. 24 four letters folks to chose from, try something original other than trying to climb on the backs of real products. Jim

Re: Home Water distiller - Vevor 4L model
I don't have or need one, but the specs are good and, if I needed one that would be the one i'd buy. I have been looking for a ultrasonic cleaner, but I don't have any room left in the house to park it, that brand is the one i'd buy. it would be a 4L so it peaked my interest, had to check it out. wo...
