Re: Advice..Narrow APAP press range or CPAP?
Thanks TwoKat. I had read on this forum that my machine ceases to respond automatically to apnias/hypopneas when the minimum press is set above 10cm however my daily graphs do not indicate this. I am considering a slight increase closer to 14cm before trying CPAP.

Re: Problems with Logging in or Creating Account
Howdy, Since last Friday, we have heard that many people have had issues with the forum resetting and logging people out when they just logged in, or refreshing to the same create account page. There also is a forum post going on this subject. We have found that this can be alleviated by clearing y...

Advice..Narrow APAP press range or CPAP?
Advice..Narrow APAP press range or CPAP? I have gradually increased my Apap minimum pressure to 13cm allowing my machine to more rapidly respond to apnias and hypopneas. I have noted that my pressure graph tends to remain at or near 14cm but occationally drifts down to 13cm sometimes resulting in a ...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
After one year I think I've got it Like many on this forum I was not content with the idea of leaving my therapy in the hands of the "professionals" so began reading comments and opinions of members who had made their way through the the trials and tribulations of hardware and mask selection and fin...

Re: Want to move to APaP data capable machine, suggestions?
I use my S8 Autoset II with software and reader purchased prior to Resmeds ban on selling their software to patients. I would normally recommend this machine except for this companys attitude toward keeping their patients/customers at arms length.

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
Sent my first machine back to the DME due to severe claustrophobia during my sleep test and after receiving my machine. Luckily met my sleep Doc by accident and he inquired about my progress. When I informed him he insisted that I try again. Took me awhile to get accustomed to the mask and another e...

As an old 1960s engineering type when software usually referred to toilet tissue I am thankful that you folks are capable enough to take this project on for the rest of us. Thanks.

Re: Positional Sleep Apnea - What Is Yours?
I initially had trained myself to sleep only on my side following the guidance of many others. Since I did not have the software and reader connected I had not actually tested the effect of back sleeping. When I finally connected my software and reader I decided to test my response to backsleeping. ...

Re: Another adnausium Swift II Leak Vs Normal Flow Rate question
I was under the impression that the leak rate displayed on my S8 Autoset II represented 95% of the total time?? I do have the graphs now since I got my cardreader yesterday. I have learned to copy the data to a pdf file but am not sure how to attach it to a message. Thanks for your help Jules.

Re: Another adnausium Swift II Leak Vs Normal Flow Rate question
Since swift is in the menu then you add together the two leak numbers you have ------ So 5 % of the night your leak rate exceeded 70 liter/min (assuming the numbers are as you specified above). =========================================================================================================...

Another adnausium Swift II Leak Vs Normal Flow Rate question
OK I know this has been covered adnausium but my brain isn't as good as it used to be. According to my calculations my normal flow rate for the Swift II at the displayed pressure of 13.2 is 38.95 L/Min. My recorded " Leak Rate " was 32.4 L/Min What conclusion can be drawn regarding actual mask leaka...
