Re: Re:

Another informative thread dug out of the archives by the spammers..... Ya gotta hand it to 'em, they're finding some interesting stuff. Hey Wulfman, The thread started in June 2005 and as you noted was dug out in March 2006 and here we go again in March 2008. March 2008? You sure about that?

Make sure you tape the edges of those badge holders so your information doesn't fall out. I always used clear shelf paper or a product called ClearSeal to laminate stuff when I was in college (and I had to laminate a LOT of stuff).

You can change the text size in your browser, did you know that? Which one are you using? I think hitting "ctrl++" will increase text size on almost any browser.

I got pimples under my mask as well. The respiratory therapist suggested that I use a toner like witch hazel before going to bed. I do that sometimes, and sometimes I wipe my face and mask with a plain baby wipe (in addition to washing my face). A little scrap of fabric (maybe a bit of old sweatshi...

So the jumpstarter wasn't cost effective? $100 USD is too much for a multi-purpose unit? I doubt you're going to find a solution for much less...

http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGuide/Product-Details.aspx?ProductID=15591 I got mine at WalMart. You plug it into the cigarette lighter to recharge. I can't guarantee that it won't completely discharge your car battery; read the instructions. However, that's why I've told you three times to be...

Leave the jumpstarter plugged in all day (it won't overcharge), but the car need not be running. But because you're drawing power from the battery to charge it, you need to run the car separately for ten to twenty minutes to make sure the car battery does not die.

Too easy. Go get a Black & Decker Power Station jumpstarter at your local big box store. They run about $100. Plug it in during the day, and you should be fine. (Be sure to run the car for 10-20 minutes every day, though, to ensure you don't drain the car battery.) I should add that this is precisel...

It's fine. That's what I have, too. Some people are just CPAP snobs, I think.

Ut ohhhhhhhhh...after reading this think I screwed up. I have 2 tanks for my humidifier, and been using a teaspoon of bleach once a month, with a good rinse......is that taboo??? I wouldn't use bleach; I'd be afraid it would etch the plastic. White vinegar is a GREAT cleaner for all sorts of applic...

I was given a letter from my sleep clinic stating that my CPAP is a piece of medical equipment and I should be allowed to take it through security and to take it as a carry on. I'd skip the extension cord; US extension cords won't work in Europe. You can pick one up there or possibly get one from th...

I use this Black & Decker Power Station when I go camping. Can't use the humidifier, but unhumidified air is better than no air. It lasted me about 14 hours, so enough for two nights.

I'm really more interested in whether or not I'm going to destroy my very expensive machine if I use the jumpstarter for power. Ahh, forgive me, I overlooked that Q? the 1st go around. While I honestly cannot predict what it is YOU will do. I can tell you I have used a jump starter on mine with abs...

Bathroom? What is this "bathroom" that you speak of? No bathrooms where I'm going, my friend, just portapotties. If we want to bathe, we have to haul the water and heat it on the stove. Ah, the "good life". I prefer "behind the bushes" and a morning dip in a lake @ 10,000ft+. Got to find a way to c...
