I use Flonase seasonally to reduce sinus inflammation due to allergies. I highly recommend the use of a Heated Humidifier (HH) to further reduce sinus inflammation from CPAP use.

Synthetic steroids cannot eliminate OSA, rather, their primary use is in the reduction of allergy symptoms.

When I called them I was told The "medical review board" denied my APAP request and responded that my sleep study was "expired" (3 years old!). I asked them why would I need a sleep study if my prescription calls out for a APAP.....

Hi Gang, For the first time in 3 years I finally dropped the CPAP and HH while I was sleeping. I guess I got twisted in hose and pulled the entire unit off the nightstand. The funny thing is that when it fell, it pulled me off the bed. What a way to wake up! After the incident, everything seemed ok....

I just got off the Carnival Spirit two weeks ago and had no problem with the CPAP. As documented above, the tap water is essentially distilled, don't forget a good 6' extension cord as they rarely have a power outlook adjacent to the beds. You'll have no problems!!!
