I'm tearing the upstairs bathroom out to the studs. This all started because I needed to change the old exhaust fan and install a new one. Now I'm removing ALL of the drywall, including the ceiling. I'm going to do some electrical work, reroute some wires, add a Ground Fault Interupter plug at each...

Things I can do now...

that I couldn't do before I started CPAP therapy. The following things were next to impossible for me to do before therapy because they would wipe me out. 1. Wash and dry my car. 2. Mow the lawn. 3. Rake the leaves 4. Clean the house. 5. Go shopping with my wife all day. This is just a partial list....

I've been on CPAP for a year this month also, and I remember the sleep tech telling me I'd be full of energy and lose weight, etc. etc. It didn't happen that way. Since I have been on CPAP therapy, I have noticed a big difference in the way that I feel. But CPAP alone will not take off the weight. I...

I have traveled with my machine, and have had no problems whatsoever. The best advice I can give you is BRING AN EXTENSION CORD! Fortunately for me, I brought one with me the first time I ever traveled with mine and I'm glad I did. I ended up using it. If you do a search of the threads, there is a r...

Sunshine, I have been on CPAP for one year now, and have not seen any significant weight loss. I have, however, noticed many changes in my body. For one, I used to have terrible GERD and would have heartburn every single night. My heartburn has all but vanished and I no longer have to take prescript...

[quote="carolt1964"]Hello All, Prostitech: The med supply store guy told me to never use anything antibacterial, scented, or with alcohol on the mask - it breaks it down faster. If you use cheap, unscented baby wipes (store brand), they strip the oil like crazy. The posh kind do spread the oil aroun...

Re: Leaking Elbow and Face Oil

[quote="carolt1964"]Hi, I too have the problem with a leaking elbow, but mine is about a year and a half old. No insurance anymore. After awhile, the bottom of the elbow and the attachment hooked to the top of the hose starts to pop off a lot. My point is, if it's too old, it's time for a new one. I...

I have slept with a Sobokawa pillow for years and I have had no trouble sleeping with it with my mask. I usually just allow my mask to hang over the edge. Don't usually have a problem with leaks either.

Hi. I'm Prostitech.

Hi Everybody. Just found this forum day before yesterday and I was excited. I've been on CPAP for 11 months now and I can't believe what a difference it has made. I'm using a Remstar plus with C-flex and a ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face mask. Any questions, let me know.

Thanks
