Re: New ASV user: Sleepy & tired as before
Whether you feel the difference with ASV or not, your treatment appears very effective with EPAP 4-10 and PS 4-10. Your overall pressure is lower and the ASV appears to be less active when PS min is 2.0 rather than 4.0. I think you might do better with comfort with PS min at 2-3 rather than 4, but I...

Re: New ASV user: Sleepy & tired as before
Megasleeper, have you ever been diagnosed with central or complex apnea, or are you self-treating for something else using ASV?

Re: New Member Indroduction
Maineguy, you have a lot of flow limitations that usually respond to the pressure support from EPR, and of course there are the clusters of OA that suggest a chin-tucking problem. I recommend you turn your EPR up to 3 and that should improve the flow limitations which drive your pressure. Take a loo...

Another example for consideration by the collective. I have run across only a few cases like this, and I'm coming up empty on advise.

Re: New ASV: Dreamstation or Aircurve 10?
Something not yet mentioned is the delivery of pressure support by Resmed uses the very natural and comfortable Easybreathe wave-form. It looks like a cresting wave as pressure increases rapidly at first, slowing near the apex of IPAP, then dropping off quickly at expiration cycle and eases into the...

Re: SleepyHead Project Takeover Attempt by AB
Story, I misread that. I posted 1.0 and, for a while Mark's 1.1 builds. I never posted later ones I had and Mark never gave those out for free. Mark actually thanked me for posting 1.0 separate from his servers to be sure we had it here. Mark seems to be in a good place right now but is looking for...

Re: questionsabout complex sleep apnea
I think your charts would make more sense if you upgraded to a newer version of Sleepyhead. Either 1.0 or 1.1 will more correctly display the settings. https://www.apneaboard.com/sleepyhead Your question is, will weight loss help with your complex or central sleep apnea problem. In general, we have ...

Re: What's with the CAs?
Clenching, your therapy looks great, and the only thing that stands out is that you are using EPR at 3 for very low pressures. At 5.6 to 9.6 your EPAP pressure does not go higher than 4.0 cm until pressure is over 7.0. It may be a coincidence but it seems like the relatively few CA events you have ...

Re: a great reason not to use photobucket.
Photobucket is apparently doing its best to get out of business. The site has become useless without the upgraded subscriptions with more spam ads than a free porn site. Even if you wanted to use them, you'd have to penetrate the ads to get a membership, just so you could subject all your friends to...

TNET Site Down? **update** site fixed
Many members on this site and others use the TNET site as a valuable reference. The site has been timing out for me and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a temporary problem or if a fix is in the works. I know the site is hosted by Krelvin, a member here as a service to others, and hope to se...

Re: newbie with an old machine?
The data indicates that the machine is set to auto with pressures set a 5/11...but...the charts indicate that you were at a fixed pressure of 9 for the night. Also has a ramp of 4 for 15 minutes that does not show up in the flow rate. I haven't seen this before, but everything suggests fixed pressu...

Re: ASV is finally in my hands!
I would have stuck with the Resmed Aircurve 10 ASV, but congrats on getting what you wanted.
What feature of the PR Dreamstation Auto SV Advanced was the game changer? The backup respiration rate IBURR) is kinda primitive compared to ASVauto on the Resmed, and sounds like a ST throwback.
