Also, are all the "guest" posts in this thread from the same person who started this thread? Den Den, Not all are from the same guest. The second post is mine, the one about being advised to stay off the cpap for 2-3 days before doing an overnight pulse ox. I thought I was logged in when I posted t...

Re: oxygen sats

Sats always drop during sleep and even with low activity and pick up with activity unless you have a health issue that the activity puts too much on your heart and lungs to keep up. Ellen, I do treadmill in a physical rehab center every day during my lunch hour. In addition to the exercise equipmen...

I tried taking 100mg of Trazodone to help me sleep at night. It not only helped me sleep, it kept me asleep right through my alarm. When I did wake up, I felt hung over most of the day. I cut back to 50mg and at first I slept but still felt hung over. After a couple of weeks, it no longer helped me ...

Long reply

Yep. I've got it, too. Years ago I wore an appliance 24/7 because my dentist told me I needed one. It was made from a hard plastic or acrylic, fit over my bottom teeth, and worked very well. I don't know what the material was but it was hard and clear. After about a year, I had to get a new crown on...

Remember, we aren't even suppose to HAVE the software, much less know how to interpret the data. LOL! ...I agree that what you describe would be VERY useful. Oh, that's right. I keep forgetting that if that information were to fall into the wrong hands, the free world as we know it... I'll just put...

Of course, there might be a problem finding a physician secure enough in his knowledge to attempt it , but I'm sure the results would be enlightening to all. Regards, Bill You're probably right about that, Bill. Actually, the problem is more likely to be finding a physician willing to stick his nec...

LDuyer,

Those are very good points. I'm going to try to make myself go to the next one in April.

Never hurts to have a little extra support and it would be nice to have a doctor or RPSGT present who could answer questions.

Thanks for your two cents.

I was titrated twice in a row at 19/15 but my doc put me on 17/12. I was having a hard time with it so he dropped it to 13/8. Recently, I switched masks and was having some problems so I asked if I needed a different mask or a change in settings. It felt like I wasn't getting enough air with the new...

My sleep lab sponsors a monthly SA support meeting. The sleep lab is located in the building where I work and the meetings are held there. Can't get much more convenient than that. And yet, I have never attended a meeting. This month I was going to go out of curiosity. I'd been up in the lab and not...

dsm, I think I know the feeling you mean. I wake up sometimes and it's so easy to breath with the machine that it feels like it's not working properly, but the pressure readings are where they should be. I assumed it was from being fully relaxed and not fighting against it while asleep. It seems lik...

How about...

Bumper sticker: Honk if you're awake!

Is that your hose or are you just happy to see me?

Bipap users blow both ways. (okay, that was just plain crass and I apologize)

Hi, rested gal! Yep, I'm the same SnoozeHunter who posted results in the other forum. I appreciate your comments and advice.
