update

Just to follow up on this. I tried using the humidifier without any heat and this worked great - not too congested and not all dried up. I'm now going to use a hygrometer to monitor ambient humidity so that I can adjust accordingly. Hope others will benefit from this. Cheers.

Chin strap rash

Hi there. I've been using a respironics deluxe chin strap for about a month but just recently I've developed a rash on the underside of my chin, right where the cup is. Has anyone else experienced this? Will washing the strap help solve this problem? Thanks.

Hi there. I just started using CPAP a week ago (respironics m-series with c-flex, humidifier and comfortgel mask) and it's going very well. I'm already feeling that I have much more energy.
