Re: Which hose management system?

Last night I jerry-rigged a hose management "system" by putting a sweat band on a nearby light (which had been turned off to make sure I didn't set my hose on fire) and running my hose through the sweat band. My mask's seal was significantly better than normal and I had a nearly flat leak rate throu...

Which hose management system?

I'd like to purchase a hose management system, but have no idea which one is "best". I'm not concerned with which one is best for travel, because I can do without it when I'm on vacation.

I'd appreciate any comments from those who have used one or more of these products.

Re: Recommended NYC sleep center, doctor?

Thanks, Fafner. I used to live in Queens many years ago. Any other New Yorkers (or ex-New Yorkers) around who might have a recommendation?

Recommended NYC sleep center, doctor?

Can anyone recommend a good sleep doctor and/or sleep center in New York City (preferably, Manhattan)?

The medium has been traded. The small is still available for trade.

"Virgin" Swift LT Pillows for Trade

I just replaced my original Swift LT with a new one. Since I knew the pillow size I needed, I have a small and a medium pillow which have never been used or even tried on. I'd like to trade either of them for an unused large pillow.

When I have a sinus infection I turn the humidifier level down a bit so there's less moisture to clog up my nose.

Re: Goodknight 420G vs Resmed S8

The 420G was my first machine. That's the only reason I knew it didn't have the pressure monitor in the hose.

Re: Goodknight 420G vs Resmed S8

An interesting situation. The only significant thing I can think of between the 2 machines is that the PB420G has an internal pressure sensing airline in the main hose & that it is going to be better at sensing the actual pressure at the mask vs the S8. There must be some other explanation. The 420...

O.T. Any Good Hearing Forums

I'm considering getting a hearing aid and am reluctant to rely on my ENT's audiologist for equipment recommendations (does this sound familiar to CPAPers?). Does anyone have any recommendations on quality forums or sites that will let me better understand the range of hearing aid technologies and re...

Re: Opus 360 newest redesign - Pillow Size?

How do the pillow sizes (I'm interested in the large) compare to the original Opus 360? Because of my slotted nares, I found the original Opus 360 large pillows just a bit too small and ended up using the Swift LT.

Re: Cleaning Aussie Heated Hose

These are the cleaning directions they e-mailed me about two years ago. Since I never bought the Aussie hose, I have no direct experience with it. CLEANING : clean ONLY the interior of the SleepZone heated CPAP tube (DO NOT immerse the tube) the simplest method is to use 2 small plastic bags or clin...

Re: Has anyone heard from -SWS lately?

P.S. I've heard that a daily dose of CHOCOLATE is a great remedy for just about anything!! Chocolate, derived from the cacao bean, is considered a vegetable. Accordingly, we should all be eating 4-5 servings per day. No need to think of it as just a remedy (even a remedy for just about everything).
