Card Reader Error

Running Encore Pro v 1.8 on Vista. Had been using about a month with the new Vista (hate vista). Anyway, suddenly this morning got an error "Card Reader Not Found" when I tried to download my data. I've reinstalled Encore, checked the firewall, reinstalled the driver. I cannot think of anything else...

Thanks Den--my original pressure range was 8-20 with higher than normal ahi. Based on our dialogue, I switched to 10.5 to 20 and got much better hypopnea results, but only slightly on the apneas. I don't understand the effect of lowering the high pressure--I get the low pressure increase.

Ratio of Hypopnea to Apnea

As I understand it, AHI is the combination of hypopnea and apnea. Of all of the posts that I've read-is there a ratio that is appropriate of hypopneas to apneas or are they all just bad? Does it matter?

results

OK so I bumped my bottom pressure from 8.0 to 10.5. My results were interesting--my ahi went down to 1.2 which is grand. It virtually eliminated hypopneas and I had 8 apneas. I've never had more apneas than hypopneas that I can ever remember. Any thoughts if this is concerning?

I've sent a basement of 8 and a high of 20. On the Aflex--would you kick it up to 9 or 10? The Cflex setting of 8 works so what correlates to Aflex? Thanks.

C-Flex vs. Aflex--increased ahi

For the past year, I used an auto Resiprionics Machine with Cflex--my original cpap prescription was 15--with the auto machine, with diet and exercise, i've dropped my average pressure to 9cm--all good with 1.7 ahi on a ffm. So as usual, I dropped money into my HSA account (health savings account) w...

I have really bad apnea and think about the person I was pre-cpap treatment and am grateful to have the problem fixed. I have tried a bunch of masks--I think I'm on number 9-but the difference in my quality of life is amazing.
