Re: Naps = Very High AHI?

8 years for a reply? Haha. That's pretty epic.
I've beat sleep apnea. It's gone for the most part. I posted my methods, and the thread was deleted. I guess it is so counterintuitive it sound like bs. All I can say is this is just a symptom, and curing the cause cures the symptom(s). Best of luck.

I cured my apnea and want to share how I did it.

I haven't been on the forum for about 5 years. But I've been a long time poster. I don't even know where to start with this, but I've made a discovery that has totally changed my life. The solution was right in my face, and yet I resisted it. And I fully expect the same from this post. But hopefully...

Re: What is my used Bipap worth?

You know, I'm so grateful that I am pulling myself back to health, and feel so badly for those who suffer, I'm not going to even think about the price too much.

I'm so grateful for your replies. And I hope someone who needs this machine sees this.

Thanks again!

Re: What is my used Bipap worth?

Oh, thank you.

I guess I'll take what I get. Phew I didn't know they were that cheap now. Technology is flying away at an amazing rate. What was new is old very quickly now.

And to think I only used it for 2 years.

I hope no one minds if I bump this up every now and then.

What is my used Bipap worth?

Well, I haven't been on the forum in a few years. One of the reasons is that I am no longer using CPAP. I have a Respironics model 1022334 Bipap auto series M machine with 7000 hours on it. It has the carrying case, a card reader and all of the software. Toward the end of using the machine the card ...

Re: I'm selling my Mirage Liberty mask

Before I put this on Craigslist I thought I'd mention that it's brand new minus about 30 minutes of wearing it.

Re: Looking for sinus thoughts.

I really want to thank Robysue for posting that video. As a result, I am stopping cpap until I get a handle on the sinus/nasal problem. On one hand I'm thrilled to even find an identification of the problem. But I'm not so happy that it could be a difficult job curing it. I may need help. Fortunatel...

Re: Looking for sinus thoughts.

What is really bugging me is this- Even if my sinuses, or whatever it is, is swollen to where there is resistance to breathing, when I do vigorous exercises, they open right up. Tonight I'm really upset about this whole thing. I watched that video, and I can see that cpap is aggrivating the situatio...

Re: Looking for sinus thoughts.

Sometimes the sinuses swell upon laying down to go to sleep, and midway during the night they open. Does this happen WITH PAP? Without PAP? Or both? In other post you indicate that your nose and sinuses react badly to added humidity. So have you considered not using the humidifier at all? As in dis...

Re: Looking for sinus thoughts.

Sounds like you've got some kind of nonallergic rhinitis going on. A really fine source of information about sinus problems and nasal problems and how they relate to PAP therapy is Dr. Krakow's The Nose Knows video series . He has one very long part on nonallergic rhinitis and the difficulties that...

Re: Looking for sinus thoughts.

Have you tried adding humidity to see if that clears things up r makes them worse? For example, what happens if you go into the bathroom, close the door, turn on the shower and make the water fairly hot (don't worry, you are not going into the shower) and then let the steam build up. Then sitting t...

Looking for sinus thoughts.

I am having increased sinus troubles. I have been to two doctors. One prescribed Flonase, and the other prescribed something else. The last one did so to see if my problem was allergies. Neither nasal spray did a thing. Whenever I lie down my sinuses swell up, and it is hard to breath out of my nose...

Re: I can't log in. How do I get help?

YAY! I'm logged in.

Now I can join in on the fun.

Just got in from a 20 mile mountain bike ride. I'm one of those people who is in shape, but yet is dying from choking at night. I've decided to put an end to the suffering. So I'll be around soon.
