The XPAP Think Tank Project LIVES... More details inside!

Hi everyone, I know I've been somewhat a stranger to this place (in the last six months) and I just wanted to change that. This year has so far had its ups and downs, with the loss of my father and my slow but steady hard earned achievements I've been kept quite busy. With these achievements under m...

The only thing that jumps out at me is... Your VB (variable breathing) is WAY too low... 3.7% and your time sleeping is 10.2 hr/ per night. (which is good especially if you need it and you feel well rested once you wake up... but is kinda long if you aren't) I seem to remember this typically varies ...

What's your taping method that worked so well?

I've had some sucess with using 3m's micropore in a large strip but I can't say I can have membership here yet.

Just wondering if your nightly AHI went down, since you turned off your EPR? I think I read you saying that at straight pressure your AHI was 10. You also didn't mention what the breakdown to hypoapneas and obstructive apneas are. I've had some problems using my c-flex on my machine and had to turn ...

Hello Stryker5777, Thank you for a good thread. Here is what I posted in another thread: I struggled several nights to get the right fit with the Hybrid but it is well worth it. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=113649#113649"[/i] ------------------------------------ Since I trained myself to...

Hey TheWife, Its great to know that I could help. I encourage you to continue to find solutions that WORK in order to help your husband. Hey guys, Okay this isn't exactly anything revolutionary but I think it might be somewhat to those who have tried everything and have nothing that works to solve our mouth leak problem. I've been using tape with This Procedure: One man's very successful taping procedure However, I think that its imp...

Hey I seem to have a similar problem as well... I think the reason why its happening is because apnea events aren't being successfully treated enough with the Auto's alogorithims in the more REM intensive stages that happen. I'm not sure why their alogorithim would be less effective toward morning o...

Hey guys, I just wanted to post a quick note here. I've been recently experimenting with the hybrid mask to stop my mouth breathing. It would appear that my numbers are alot higher with this mask than with my swift. 2-3.5 ahi with the swift and a whooping 7- 11 ahi sometimes even higher. Still exper...

There are several definitions, one on this forum in the help section. Another is in the encore pro help files. I haven't really found an explaination medically what the consequences of flow limitations are. Does anybody know? Could enough negatively impact one's therapy?
