Make sure your friend has an epi-pen on hand. Bad reactions can come some time after the shot.

I never used a full face mask. I started off with the optilife. It doesn't touch the bridge of your nose at all. Might be worth a try.

Anyone have AHI problems after an allergy shot?

I'm on week 4 of cpap and things are going ok to great then back to bad. I'm starting to think the bad days are all allergy related. My predictable bad days are after I get my allergy shot. The shot always makes it difficult for me to breath for a day or so (not just my nose but lung capacity seems ...

I don't have any real world experience with pressurized hoses but I used to work with vacuum chambers. What I found was a change in length of hose did not affect ultimate vacuum but did affect the time to reach it significantly. (inverse square?) If the opposite is true, then maybe all you are doing...

I'm new to CPAP.

I skipped the full face mask/beard worry and went straight to an optilife nasal mask.

I'm happy with it so far but it's only been a week.

Thanks Snoredog,

I'm thinking of raising low limit to 11.

Also considering lowering the upper limit. I think 15 was a fluke.

Hi Fredman,

I did end up using it last night after all.

It actually helped with the congestion and the warm humid air felt great.

I don't remember getting much sleep but I feel much more alert today than I have in a long time.

Thanks Jerry.

I like the spare mask idea.

I'll wait the cold out for now. One less variable to worry about.
