I just got a Padacheek (yes I believe they have been around a bit) and it is good and comfy. I had checked a little while ago and I believe she has a cooshier (is that how you spell that) version on her ebay store. I do not know anything about the other one, I think it is pretty new. I know she test...

I have seen the standard 6' hoses for CPAP, but I have also see some larger ones like the 10'. If you could find a long enough one, you could rig something up so you wouldn't need to even get out of bed. Im thinking a mask shape is pretty good for a funnel, and I cannot find anything else useful for...

I have just purchases an Activa but have not slept on it yet. Are you tearing while it is on or just in general due to the use of it? Could it be a reaction to the material? Or is it leaking near your eyes to cause the problem?

If I have anything similar Ill let you know.

I had the exact same post in my stage you are in. I came to the same conclusion, your body is used to getting X number of hours at the previous efficiency. Now you can get the equivalent sleep in a much shorter amount of time. I went from 11 hours and still tired to 4. My body got used to sleeping t...

In terms of the swift, I may have missed if someone else said this already, but in case noise bothers you, there is a definate connection with the pressure used and the noise it makes, and it seems to go up quickly after a certain point. I am on straight CPAP and I ramp from 8 to my prescribed 11 (s...

I am envious of the different masks they had you on there. The only one they would give me was a Comfort Gel which I have decided I hate. I asked about the Activa, Swift, Comfort Curve, and Breeze and they looked at me clueless so I have had to try out different masks after the fact. Hope all works ...

I have just received my Aura and an Activa. Currently I have been transitioning between a "Comfort"Gel and a Swift. I like the Swift better than the ComfortGel but as any mask I have my issues with it, Namely I cannot sleep facing my mate since I dont want to blow her head off. I used to also find m...

Since we are on the activa discussion I have a question. I am recieving one today that I ordered from CPAP.com. I did the measurments on the page for sizing and it said I should use a large. I use a Small/Med Comfort Gel though I have never been sure if it is right for me since I have issues with th...

It is sure a pressure thing for the noise. I am at 11 and I feel it is slightly loud, but I put my ramp at 8 and when I hit that it goes pretty quiet, so it is a only a few difference that can cause it to go from quiet to breezy.

I may be nieve, but the fact is you technically have to have a scrpt to purchase a Cpap. As far as I know, you cant just go on ebay and buy something because they restrict them from being posted, but I guess people sneak them on. Just my .02

Yup I asked several different flight attendants, none of which had ever heard of Apnea or Cpap and they all told me to go with the large bag approach. I agree that it seems to make much more sense to have 3 stowable bags than 2 unstowable ones. Oh well, I have moved away from delta anyways and it lo...
