How many masks did you go through when you started?
How many masks did you try when you first started? I'm worried my DME is getting frustrated with me. I'm on my 3rd mask. I started with nasal pillows and those blew too much air in my ears. I liked them, but after waking up dizzy and lightheaded for 2 weeks not matter what I switched to a nasal mask...

Please help me find a mask that won't give me a headache
Hi All- I'm trying very hard to find a mask that I can tolerate. I'm on my 3rd mask and it still isn't working. Please help! I started with an older style Swift nasal pillow mask. There is a plastic piece in the back at the base that gives me a headache. The actual mask part is quite comfortable exc...

Re: Waking feeling dizzy, headache, groggy, light headed
I took a break last night. While I woke up a little sleepy this morning because I read too late last night, I was not at all lightheaded or groggy. My ears are still popping though. I feel a lot better today. I went to the DME and got a different mask. I'm hoping something that does not blow air dir...

Re: Waking feeling dizzy, headache, groggy, light headed
How many nights has it been since you began use again? I used it about 16 nights in a row. What comfort measures have you already tried, such as mask liners, padding, etc.? I have purchased a hose hanger, but that is all. I also have changed my mask from an older style swift to the airfit p10. I fe...

Waking feeling dizzy, headache, groggy, light headed
I've been consistently using my machine for about 2 weeks. I am now starting to remember more the reasons why I quit using it several years ago. I am waking most mornings feeling dizzy, groggy and light-headed. I also have more headaches in the morning and my face/head feel almost numb. My brain is ...

Re: Starting over...suggestions?
Thank you so much for your suggestions! Last night I loosened the straps and went up to the "S" sized pillows. It worked perfectly. I think I only woke up once and was able to fall right back to sleep. I slept all the way until my alarm this morning without taking off my mask. That may be a record f...

Re: Starting over...suggestions?
Thanks for the info - I'm using the Respironics REMstar M Series AUTO CPAP with A-Flex, SmartCard and Humidifier. I am not really happy with my mask. I seem to have to keep adjusting it and it the top presses into the tip of my nose and makes it sore. I'm going to try some different things tonight t...

Starting over...suggestions?
Hi all - I am starting over. I was diagnosed several years ago with OSA, used my CPAP for about a year and then fell off the wagon. It was a really bad experience for me and I never felt like I slept better with it than without. I was tired either way. Either I was fighting everything going on with ...

New to CPAPand question about pressure
Hello everyone! I was diagnosed with possible mind sleep apnea - index of 6. I now have had my CPAP for a week and I am having a terrible time adjusting. I feel like I am just not getting enough air. My minimum pressure started at 4 and max at 14. We have since bumped the min up to 8.5. With that se...
