No spit! (lol)
I use the Activa Mirage nasal mask and a chin strap. I don't have any problem getting to sleep, but usually I wake up within a couple of hours with my mouth totally devoid of saliva and I start to cough. When I wake up, the pressure is at 14 and I feel like I can't exhale. Another thing I noticed is...

I think the idea of putting it on the floor is a good one. I was told that my sleep co. bills my insurance monthly until the machine is paid off (this is to make sure that I will keep and use this machine); at which time I will be given a brand new machine with a warranty. So I guess that means the ...

[quote="snork1"][quote="HeidiHose"]I just got back from the doc who went over my titration study with me. Seems like since my septoplasty, I went from a pressure of 18 down to a 14, which is huge for me! I can't wait to get in next week and get this machine adjusted! http://bestsmileys.com/dancing/1...

*A CPAP Christmas*
'Twas the night before Christmas and my cpap was ready, my mask was strapped on to my little fat heady! The hose was draped nicely to my bedpost with care, in hopes that it wouldn't get tangled in my hair. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while thoughts of mom's snoring danced in th...

*NAME THAT MACHINE!"
I was thinkin' the other day that since my CPAP machine and I are so close and go to bed together every night, that I should give "it" a name! So, I chose a very non-imaginative and original name: "PAPPY!" What do you want to name your machine? _________________ CPAPopedia Keywords Contained In Thi...

[quote="Apneaat22"]In terms of the swift, I may have missed if someone else said this already, but in case noise bothers you, there is a definate connection with the pressure used and the noise it makes, and it seems to go up quickly after a certain point. I am on straight CPAP and I ramp from 8 to ...

[quote="DaveMunson"]I'm also using the Activa with a pressure of 16 to 20. I have the cflex turned on to the low setting. Otherwise, my breathing out plus the higher pressure would tend to blow the mask off. The cflex really helps. Nose pillows dont seem to work for me at higher pressure. Cant get t...
