Hi - what do you mean by outlet adapter and three way plug. The cord on my cpap is a regular cord and I am going to bring an extention cord.

Traveling to Spain

Hi - I'm traveling to Spain on Friday. Does anyone know if I will be able to take my cpap along without any problems once I board the international flights? I don't need to use it on the plane but I don't want it confisgated either!

Well I might have to switch comfort for beauty (hehe). I'm a professional and fair and the Opus mask truly does leave me looking like the joker in the morning!

Breeze nasal pillows

Is anyone using the Breeze nasal pillow system? I am using Opus 360 nasal pillows which I like but because I am a side sleeper I can't stand the marks. I'd like to know if you like the Breeze pillows.

Nasal pillows - comparison

Hi Everyone, I have the Opus 360 nasal pillow mask and I like it. However, I found that when I woke up this morning I looked like the "Joker" in that I had impressions in my face that spanned across my face. I noticed that the "Headrest Nasal CPAP interface" doesn't touch the face. Has anyone used b...

WOW - what a response this question has triggered from everyone! Pretty cool! So, I'm now thinking that 100 years ago, the life span of men and women was around 50. Today at 50, we are just getting started. We are so much more educated about the human body and its functions that sleep apnea probably...

Why are so many people being diagnosed with sleep apnea?

Is it because of new technology? I've talked to four people in the last two months that have been diagnosed.

YES! I think my chest discomfort is costochondritis! I read the symptoms for this condition and it is exactly what I have. I even called my sleep doctor's office and they never heard of anyone have this type of pain when using a cpap. Thanks for sharing. This is why I like this site because only the...

Hi Johnny,

I don't know if my machine will turn into a CPAP and I don't know what my pressures are supposed to be. Sounds pretty dumb but neither my doctor nor the medical provider spent much time with me. I will call my doctor. Thanks for your help.

Extreme chest soreness after APAP use

Hi CPAP friends, OK - I'm kind of getting used to my APAP and been trying to wear it while watching tv just to acclimate myself to the machine. So far I haven't had any problems. My settings will go between 4 and 7 and I feel fine. However, when I take it off, I get extreme chest soreness. Like if I...

I don't know what they recommended in my study but I will check with my doctor. Also it is 'H20' no O2 so I know its not oxygen. Thanks for all of your thoughts everyone, I really appreciate it!

My problem was the fact that I didn't sleep, that all of the 'oxygenated' air invigorated me to the point that I couldn't sleep even though I was tired and ready for sleep when I went to bed.
