Is there a water chamber release?

I've been using this machine for about a month and every night I struggle to get the water chamber to separate from the unit. Is there a release button I'm missing?

Re: Something I Hate

With the mask off, it WILL stop eventually. One morning I forgot to turn it off and it ran until I was ready to use it that night. In a way that made it convenient since the start doesn't work. Actually I became aware it was still running when I removed the humidity chamber to add water. Even with ...

Something I Hate

I admit I have little patience, but . . . One of the things that simply infuriate me is when I explain a problem I am having with a device they made or sold me and they tell me it's not doing what I just explained it was doing. I use it -- they don't, "please don't tell me not to believe my eyes," o...

Re: Rumors?

This looks like a good design (we're not talking about performance). The swivel allows the the hose to point anyway you want. I don't know how you fill the water chamber, that may be a problem.

Re: Rumors?

Or, you can simply turn the unit so that the hose port faces the direction you desire. But the power cord should be on the back. Which it is until you make the back the front, then the power cord hangs in front of the nightstand drawers, making it difficult to open them. That is the way I used the ...

Re: Rumors?

Wow! I didn't expect my opinion to upset people. This is my second CPAP and the best one I've had, hands down. I use it when traveling and am using it now because the S9 has failed. The hose comes off the front like sensible people would put it and the water chamber is easy to fill and know how full...

I bought an extra S9 machine because they are so good. No regrets.
I hate it. From my perspective it is the most user unfriendly machine anyone could design.

Re: Rumors?

I was stunned to see this sale on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/ResMed-AirSens ... 2647123470

I didn't think it was legal for individuals to sell used medical equipment.

Re: Rumors?

I just checked with https://www.secondwindcpap.com/ and they charge half the price of a new unit. $370 is not my kind of tide me over for a few months deal.

Re: Rumors?

I did ask them and
surprise
they claimed not to know. I didn't figure they would say because no one would buy after the announcement 'til the new model was available. The used one makes sense. I'll look into that.

Rumors?

When I got my ResMed Autoset 9 machine, ResMed came out with the Airsense 10 model 2-3 months later. My unit has failed and I must get a new one. But, the ResMed Airsense 10 Machine is now 5 years old and it would really chap me if, again , in a few months they come out with a new model and I'm agai...
