Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. Last night I set the pressure to 7 and

Pressure: 7.2
Leak: 0.10
AI: 3.2
HI: 5.3
AHI: 8.5

and I feel much better!

So the question becomes, should I continue the trend and try 6 tonight, or just let it stabilize at 7 for a week?

Maybe I'll try 7 tonight, just to see what the difference is. But I know I have trouble breathing when the pressure is too low on the ramp-up (like 4), because the CO2 doesn't get evacuated quickly enough.

Yep, I think ColinP is right. Last night I was at 12 and guess what? no changes. In fact I had some pain in my chest, presumably from the greater pressure.

I'm going back to 8 and am going to stick with it for a few weeks to see what happens.
