Hi. I also have Kaiser/Apria. First, you need to look at your doc's Rx. Apria will not give you an auto machine unless your rx specifically requests it. Second, I know for a fact they will do special orders. I don't use any of the standard masks because I have a small nose and they special ordered ...

Was set up with a Remstar Plus at 12cm... they gave me the stupid crossover humidifier, which only works with hot water, and as soon as it cooled, humidity plummeted and left me dry... Bought the heated Humidifi...

How about a complate to the FTC or FDA, or even your local or federal Insurance regulatory agencies?
This appears to be an attempt to jack prices, and since most people have insurance covering DME, an attempt to make large profits... Insurance Fraud isn't much different...
