Re: Good experience with Delta, using CPAP on flight

Yes it was AC power. Perfectly normal outlet, most people in "Economy Comfort" would use it for their laptops.

Good experience with Delta, using CPAP on flight

I've been using my machine for years and I like it. I don't really think about it anymore and just take it for granted. Delta has been offering "Economy Comfort" seating. Not only does this give you more leg room, but it also gives you a power outlet (on most seats, there are ways to check which sea...

Re: Any recommendations on DME in Atlanta area?

I used SleepMed for a few years, they're a good bit north of town though. Very rarely would I visit them up there, however. I had a good experience with them, they gave me a loaner VPAP at first to collect data, then when I was supposed to switch to another CPAP I didn't like the machine and thought...

Re: Encore and Vista

Encore Viewer does not run on Vista 64-bit.

I'm even a big fan of Vista 64-bit, except for this issue.

Re: Carry on luggage - CPAP as third bag?

Well to take a short break from feeding the troll, here is a useful product sold by cpap.com, our helpful forums sponsors. A official looking plastic tag explaining that your CPAP bag doesn't count towards your carryon limit. Two to choose from: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/medical-identificatio...

Re: First Night....

When I started therapy I was also on Auto for a week or two to determine a good pressure. I had trouble keeping the mask on because a low pressure really bothers me. Once the pressure is above 10 I feel better, my face is cooler, I don't feel like I'm breathing in what I breathe out. So anyways, may...

Re: Newbie Greetings

I have a mustache and goatee and I use a full face mask... no leak problems. Maybe your provider can let you try one on and see if it is more comfortable before you go shaving anything?

Re: Is there a "Target" VS (Vibratory Snore) Number?

What about your leak rate?

If you are leaking a lot then the machine can't detect VS or AHI correctly. So if your mouth was open and air leaked out of your mouth, then the machine may not detect VS (even though it should have).

Re: Trying to use CPAP for 2 months but turns off

Is there a warranty or something? Because the problem isn't "how can I live with the humidifier", it is "why is this machine shutting off if the humidifier is off"? Tell them your machine is broken and you demand a new one. I would say that maybe your power outlet isn't providing consistent power......

Re: M-series AutoCpap machine users--help me please!

I also hate the M-Series machines for being so loud. I negotiated to get an older REMstar machine (which should appear as part of this message, you can click it to see it). The older REMstar machines are much quieter and my wife and I are much more pleased with it. However, there will always be some...

I just got a UMFF two nights ago. I can already tell me leak rate will be a lot better than with the Fisher&Paykel 431 I had.

That said, the Fisher&Paykel was very comfortable and maybe will fit your face better than it fits mine.

"computer techs tell me that if I buy a new maching there is a very good chance that the drivers for the hardware won't be available to go back to XP." Well, you are being lied to. They are just trying to get you to buy hardware you don't need. Unless you are a bigtime PC gamer like I am, you don't ...

I have software and it shows a pretty common "vibratory snore". My leak rate varies (I'll be getting a different mask in a few weeks) but my snore rate doesn't. However my wife says I'm not gasping for air like I used to, I think my therapy is OK. The doctor isn't concerned and he seems knowledgable...

I get this problem EVERY TIME.

I keep deleting the previous profile and redownloading the data.

I would also like to know why this is happening and how to make it stop.

I'd recommend replacing those white filters monthly.
