My sleep doc presrcibes me ambien and I get a good nights sleep when I use it. The half life is short so I do not wake up groggy. I don't take it every night and not after 11pm. It does not seem to affect my AHI numbers.

I had trouble with DME, LifePlus, when they gave a CPAP that only provided compliance data. I fought for two weeks to get a data compliant machine, and after a new script they finally provided a Remstar APAP. Other than that issue I have never had a problem.. I now only call the 800 number to order ...

Thanks RIP, I was just curious because of something I read on the RESMED website. I have pasted the info below. Probably a sales pitch but I was curious if the S8 AutoSet 2 would truly find my correct pressure and react quicker to events than my Respironics Auto. I guess I am looking for a solution ...

Bisphenol A is also used as an antioxidant in plasticizers and as a polymerization inhibitor in PVC. Polycarbona...

Help with Data

Need help to intepret this data. The big question i have is if the data is valid. Are the leaks under control enough to consider the data useful? I have taped my mouth and the leak rate is about the same either way. Pressure presented here was set from 13 to 15 with Remstar Auto with c-flex, hc 150,...

Remstar Auto CPAP with C-Flex Not Working ?

I have been using the auto for a year after trading up from the non data capable Plus. I have seen some improvement over the year but each day I have never felt as good as I did with the Plus Unit. Although I do not fall asleep at meetings and no longer sleep nine hours per day I just notice that I ...
