It took me 6 masks and 4 very difficult months before I was able to sleep all night with CPAP.
Now I never sleep without the CPAP and feel much better.
Keep working at it, the results are definitely worth the effort.

I have been using the Everest Aura CPAP for about 3 weeks now. My pressure is 11. Before I bought the Aura, I was using the RemStar plus with C-Flex. It took about a week to get used to exhaling against the full pressure. Now I don't miss the C-Flex at all. I bought the Everest because of the batter...

I had a heart attack with 2 stints and a second go at it with a third stint over a 2 year period. On the last hospital stay, the night nurse asked me if I was getting treatment for my sleep apnea. To which I responded, "What sleep apnea." Several months of doctor visits and testing later, I started ...

I do not believe that you will get much benefit from a room humidifier unless it is blowing directly into the air intake of the CPAP. Then I would be concerned with possible damage to the CPAP from too much moisture on the internal fan and electronics. The air you are breathing is in a closed enviro...

I too thought the comfort lite would be a good mask for side sleepers. but, I found that the hard shell plastic headgear was not very comfortable when trying to sleep on the side. I could maintain a good seal that was somewhat comfortable with the pillows, but could not get the nasal interface to se...

I started with the ComfortGel and it would rub a blister on the bridge of my nose. By the 4th day, the blister was bleeding. Wearing a bandaid on the nose bridge helps. I complained to DME and switched to ComfortLite and it solved the nose problem, but I found it very uncomfortable and difficult to ...
