You can live with out a humidifier
I live on the east coast. I find that although the humidifier is only mildly beneficial during our humid summers. The real need is in the winter when the humidity in the house is 40% or lower. Noise levels
One thing though, the 420e was fairly loud when I exhaled, Stacy was noting that it was whistling when I exhaled? Very quiet when I inhaled though.
