Re: Upcoming surgery
I am a week post-op now. I am still in plenty of pain. Went and saw my ENT today and he said everything is going good with my recovery so far. I am able to wear my CPAP when sleeping. My pressures before surgery were 17-20, now I have it set on 6-12 and logs are showing median pressure is running ab...

Re: Upcoming surgery
Well, surgery is complete. Just got home from the hospital today. The surgery went fine, but when they tried to extubate me, my vocal chords clamped shut, causing a nasty pulmonary edema. The doctor said they didn't have me restrained and that I was tossing nurses around like rag dolls. Said he has ...

Upcoming surgery
I am going to go through with the UPPP, Tonsillectomy, Turbinate Reduction and Septoplasty in a few weeks. I have read all of the horror stories, so I am not looking for anyone to try and talk me into or out of having this procedure. I have consulted with more than one ENT, as well as my family doct...

I talked my fiancee into wearing my new CMS50F last night. I downloaded the data this morning and I do see some desats throughout the night, but there are a few spots throughout the night that I'm not sure what to make of. Here are some screen shots. Here is the whole night... http://farm6.static.fl...

Re: Sp02 Contec CMS50f
Thanks for your quick reply pulseoxstore! I am up and running. Now I just have to figure out how to get my fiancee to wear it for a few nights to see if her O2 is dropping when she stops breathing constantly.

Sp02 Contec CMS50f
I ordered a CMS50F and it arrived today. I have followed the instructions and installed the software, but when I plug it into my computer, the software is not seeing it. I have verified in device manager that the device is showing up and have reinstalled the drivers, but it never sees it. I am using...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
I have finally had some time to use this mask. I love it! I was having trouble with leaks around the eyes, but found that it was due to having the mask to tight. I can't believe how loose I can keep the straps on this mask and still maintain a good seal. The only times I have leaks is when I first p...

The manual states every 6 months (or more often if necessary).

Re: question
I would get the software and download your data. It is possible that you are having the same issue that I am. My machine keeps forgetting the date/time, so my compliance data is all messed up because half of my sessions show 2008 or 2009 for the year. DME called yesterday and my new machine is in. R...

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
I tried last night without success. It is leaking at the top of my nose and into my eyes. I am going to have to play around with it some more during "awake" hours. Gave up after 45 minutes and put my regular Quattro on for the remainder of the night.

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
I just picked mine up today! Got home and tried it on. I use a medium Quattro, so I also went with the medium on the FX. I spent about 30 minutes messing with it and finally took a nap with it. So far, I like it very much. There may be a slight learning curve to figure out the easiest way to put it ...

Re: S9 Autoset keeps losing time and date
I just went to Lincare to pick up my new Quattro FX mask and she said she talked to ResMed and they are shipping out a replacement S9, as this should not be happening.

S9 Autoset keeps losing time and date
I have a new (less than 1 week old) S9 Autoset. It keeps forgetting the date/time. I will set it and the next day when I read the card on my PC, it shows no data for the current date, but there is new data for 12/31/2008. Has anyone come across this issue? I have contacted my DME and they are going ...
