Re: Length of Resmed Slimline Tube

Thank you everyone. I found where I can change from slimline to normal diameter--something that the guy at Apria was clueless about.

A regular hose might not be as light, but I would rather have it heavy and not accidentally pull a Resmed s9 off the night stand.

Length of Resmed Slimline Tube

I have a 6 foot Resmed Slimline Tube (not the special heated kind). Are longer ones available? If not, is there some type of connector available to use 2 of them.

(The guy at my DME is useless and can't answer a simple question.)

I'm kind of in the same boat.

The ComfortGel Full Face CPAP Mask with Headgear really intrigues me (I can't use a nasal one--I'm a mouth breather with allergies LOL.)

But, what doesn't intrigue me, is the price tag.

A-Flex, Bi-Flex, C-Flex for Dummies

Maybe it's just too late for my brain to comprehend at the moment; but I'm on the Respironics site looking at their CPAP devices (including C-Flex and A-Flex) and their Bi-Level devices (including Bi-Flex). I wish they had some kind of chart to compare the devices, but maybe they're just trying to k...

Here I am getting uttterly confused between Bi-flex and a-flex and c-flex and this post was exactly what I needed at 2 AM.

I just busted out laughing when I saw the picture of the pup using the CPAP.

Thanks! I really needed that 2nite!

Also, some people talk about the cushion versus the seal. I know what the silicone seal is, but what is the cushion?

Replacing Silicone Seal on Flexifit 431 Full-Face CPAP Mask

I've been looking on the web for replacement of just the silicone seal on the flexifit 431. I need a small or medium (product code 400HC112 or 400HC104) based on this part list: http://www.fphcare.com/osa/pdf/OSA_Prod_Cat_highres.pdf (page 5) I keep finding prices of $60+ for the seal--anyone have a...

I am not endorsing these and have never tried them; however, flatulence underwear does exist:

Seriously, this is not a joke--these are two that I found when I googled.

This discussion is blowing me away! (pun intended)

I never once thought of associating my CPAP with my gas! I wonder how common this is?
